Mom and baby brother are up.
They are preparing sandwiches.
It's raining now and it's 44 degrees in New York.
Going to talk about 3 reasons to slow down.
------------------------------
Didn't get?things done yesterday.
Had to rest and respond to comments in my bedroom.
What you don't know is this:
I'm recovering from covering for a co-worker who lost her voice.
She's 63 years old.
I worked from 11pm to 7:30am last Tuesday.
And then 3:30pm to 7am the following day on Wednesday.
Worked six days.
Here are 3 reasons to slow down:
Reason #1: To be aware of your body.
This is why it's important to be aware:
1. To know your limits.
2. To adjust your schedule.
3. To put yourself and your health first.
There is no shame in taking a break.
Reason #2: To get into the right mindset.
It's the same way with getting back on a bike.
Sometimes?days you get on. And there are days you fall off.
The way to go is to have a growth mindset.
You grow when you choose to grow.
Reason #3: To be patient and focus on today. ?
Here's what I'm doing now:
- Catching up on posts.
- Replying to comments.
- Answering InMail messages.
- Being patient with my body.
How you prepare yourself today determines tomorrow.
P.S. What tips do you have for slowing down?
