3 reasons nobody's reading your LinkedIn posts

One of the things my real-life friends and family know me for is honesty.
If you're looking for someone to tell you the truth - in love, of course - you can always count on me.
My dad always used to say a funny phrase after administering some form of tough discipline to me or one of my four siblings when we were growing up.
He would say, "It's my love that speaks".
Meaning that the discipline we were experiencing was part of his love for us, even though it seemed harsh to our young minds at the time.
That's the kind of vibe I want you to read this article with.
If the shoe fits, know that "It's my love that speaks"! ??
So, that said - let's talk about why nobody's reading your LinkedIn posts and the three likely reasons for this.
The 4 Pillars of LinkedIn Success
The thing most people don't tell you about LinkedIn is that there is no one magic thing you need to do to build your personal brand and/or business on this platform, there are several things.
In my book, Start Being Visible , I call these things "The 4 Pillars of LinkedIn Success".
These pillars are:
If you want to get tangible results from LinkedIn - whether for your business or career - you need to pay attention to these four pillars in equal measure.
So, what has this got to do with no-one reading my posts, Mildred?
I'm glad you asked!
The thing is, if you’re getting no to low engagement on your posts and it feels like nobody's reading your content, it’s usually because one or more of your four pillars are broken.
The three reasons
Specifically, these three reasons - which centre around the Content/Audience pillars - are often the culprit:
Whilst numbers 1 and 2 are fairly straightforward to fix, number 3 - speaking to the right audience - is a little more challenging.

I hate to break it to you but everyone on LinkedIn is NOT your target audience!
This means that your content isn't going to interest or resonate with everyone.
It's like you being a dog owner, for example, walking into a room full of cat lovers and delivering a lecture on how to train a dog to play catch.
I can almost guarantee you that no one in that room will engage with your talk.
Now compare that to walking into a room of dog lovers and delivering the same lecture. Chances are you'll get a completely different response - celebration, engagement, sales even (if you brought some goodies with you!).
Same lecture, different audience.
LinkedIn works in exactly the same way as this made-up scenario.
So, your task today is to first determine who your target audience is and then go and find that audience and start building meaningful relationships with them.
The ABC Challenge
Now, I know this is easier said than done, which is why I created something to help you with this.
Over the past six months, I’ve been quietly developing and privately rolling out, within my Visible Women Tribe community, a mini 30-day Challenge that's designed to help you find and connect with your target audience on LinkedIn, organically.
I’ve called this the ABC (Audience Breakthrough) Challenge.
The ABC Challenge kicks off on Monday 2nd May and will run for 30 days.?
The Challenge is open to women AND men this time, but spaces are limited to just 10 people - first come, first served.
