3 "P"'s of Life & Business

3 "P"'s of Life & Business

How do you treat people? Do you have good people around you? Do you understand the importance of people?

I don't profess to be an expert as an entrepreneur but I sure have learned a lot in 15 years. In this week's blog, I'd like to share my perspective on how I conduct business inside my business.

I use a 3 "P"'s perspective:

1. People

2. Process

3. Product

Today, we'll talk about People. I'll expand on the other two in the coming weeks. Remember, all 3 need to work together or you could miss out on the full potential.

When I began to understand, and implement, the 3 "P"'s, it changed how I looked at my business and how I worked on it.

3 People Rules:

1. People are very important. Without people you have no sales, no partnerships, and no business.

2. All people make mistakes. Happily forgive and offer them the support they need.

3. You can't teach HEART. You can train on many things but HEART is the lifeline to any business.

In the H7 Network there are almost 200 volunteers in almost 50 communities. They run this organization. They are good people with big hearts and they keep the main thing...the main thing. They help others when they see an opportunity, they keep the vision, and above all, I don't ever need to teach them HEART. I am so blessed to work with so many great people. Thank an Alpha member the next time you meet or see one. They deserve a huge THANK YOU! H7 wouldn't exist without them or you. People are the "main thing".

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reply! This is my passion and I feel blessed to share it with you.

As a member of your organization for more than two years, I would like to express my thoughts on this article just because it might help you grow even more, so get ready for a little TOUGH LOVE... I left H7 because of how I was approached for the renewal fee. I received an email, which was fine, but there was no flexibility with the payment. The funds were not available at that time, but I was not given any other option. I did not feel valued as a person. When I received a text message on my mobile phone asking for the payment about a week later, I decided I would look for another networking opportunity, instead of renewing. What also had a big impact on my decision was that my name was spelled wrong in the text message. You have an amazing organization and so much more room to grow. I hope that you take to heart what you said in this article and apply these principles with every employee, every volunteer, every member and every prospect. You do have some serious competition, so outwardly expressing your appreciation for your staff and members is definitely a way to keep them coming back. Thank you for sharing the article. I hope this helps in some way ;)

Very true Clayton. What would our country and world be like if all business professionals followed these easy Ps?
