3 Proven Strategies Transform your Life, Take Action & Crush your Goals

Did you know you were 96% more creative as a kid than you are now?

According to a study by NASA, it’s true. Just compare the big dreams of a 7-year-old to most 37-year-olds… and you’ll start to see what I mean. Kids want to be astronauts, rockstars, or explorers — and believe that they can.

The problem for most adults is they’ve already decided certain outcomes won’t happen. Maybe now that you’re an adult you don’t care about flying to Mars…But the big thinking that came so naturally to you as a kid?

Big Thinking is the #1 missing ingredient to living a life of more money, meaning, and impact TODAY.

Here are 3 proven strategies to think BIGGER and take consistent action on your goals…

#1: FEAR OF FAILURE IS YOUR BIGGEST ENEMY

FEAR of failure kills more dreams than failure itself ever will.

According to a 2018 report from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, roughly one-third of wantrepreneurs don’t start a business because of fear of failure.

Fear is a natural instinct that we owe our survival to, but a fear is oftentimes irrational and makes some people avoid following their dreams. And equally destructive is a fear of success, which prevents people from transforming their aspirations into reality yet for a completely different reason.

Ultimately, eliminating a deep-seated sense of insecurity requires far more than reciting famous failure quotes. If you’re eager to conquer your fear of failure (or your fear of success), let's chat. The Babcock Method? is designed with that goal in the forefront of all we do. Either way, don’t let fear stand in your way, you can take the first step toward success today by simply pushing past the fear and acknowledging it isn't real.

#2: MENTAL REHERSAL

Our subconscious is designed to keep us safe. From an evolutionary perspective, it makes sense that familiarity leads to comfort. Something you’re familiar with is less likely to hurt you. Or, at least, hurt you in an unexpected way. We don’t want to risk the unfamiliar.

The issue is that the unknown is where possibility and growth exist.

Mental rehearsal involves imagined, mental practice of performing a task. That is, when engaging in mental rehearsal, one imagines performing without having to actually do anything.  Psychologists and athletes alike know that it works: picturing ourselves going through routines, whether it's winning the gold medal, scoring the dream job, being in the ideal relationship, or something more mundane, improves our chances of success

#3: THE 'DO SOMETHING' PRINCIPLE

We all know there is no such thing as success without action. But so many of us are waiting to get motivated in order to take action. WRONG!

Motivation is not just the cause of action, it is also the effect.

Our actions create emotional reactions and inspirations, and move on to motivate your next actions. If you lack the inspiration and motivation in the first place, try taking action first. Do something — anything, really — and then harness the emotional reaction (inspiration) to that action as a way to begin motivating yourself.

Summing it up:

We humans like to picture the worst scenario that could arise out of a situation. In our minds, we may fear going bankrupt or something bad happening to our loved ones.

I’m not saying we should be na?ve and not expect bad things to happen at all. But to live in fear of these scenarios is a waste of time and energy, because many times the things we fear never end up happening, and when they do happen, it’s not quite as bad as we imagined it would be- and worst yet, our imagination may be manifesting our fears into reality.

We can’t control whether the worst will happen to us or not. But if it does happen, the only thing we can do is take action, knowing we can handle whatever comes at us, as we’ve handled every obstacle we’ve faced up until now.

Be a Warrior, Not a Worrier,
