We are living through trying times, but it's important that we keep our minds, body, and souls engaged. Listening to podcasts is 1 of the ways that can help in that. The good thing about podcasts is that you can do it remotely anywhere you like. Be it in the car, gym, home, or even the office. In addition, podcasts can entertain and teach us a thing or two about life, science, and even politics.
In this week's newsletter, I've compiled a list of my top picks for self-development podcasts that you can download and listen to. Just like my favorite list of self-help books that I read, these self-development podcasts will provide tips and tricks for achieving success in a variety of scenarios. Learn how to improve your relationships, how to boost your productivity, or just listen for some sage wisdom. Either way, you will have an additional tool in your arsenal to help you achieve the success you desire.
Here are some of my top picks for self-improvement podcasts.
1) Addicted 2 Success by Joel Brown
When I first started my personal development journey in 2014, aside from watching Tai Lopez, Gary Vaynerchuck, and many others on Youtube, Addicted 2 Success was the 1st fuel to my soul. It has helped me to stand back up again after facing numerous setbacks in 2014. Joel was the first person who inspired me to have my own podcast. Having the idea of interviewing your idols or even having a phone call with them seemed surreal to me until my first-hand experience with my first guest in 2017.
With all that being said, Addicted 2 Success is easy to listen to and offers refreshing perspectives. Joel is an amazing host and someone who really helps you break down and understand concepts in a way that they’re practical to your life.?This is the #1 Source for Self-Development and Motivation. You can check out his inspiring interviews with many elites and mentors such as Tim Ferriss, Lewis Howes, Marissa Peer, Gary Vaynerchuck, Prince EA, and many more!
2) The School of Greatness by Lewis Howes
As I was in continuous pursuit of personal development in 2016, I chanced upon this guy who seemed unknown to me on Youtube. Yet, he was interviewing one of the giants of the personal development industry, and his name is non-other than Tony Robbins! Not just that, he was speaking with him on his private jet! My mind was blown away and I was thinking to myself "If he can interview highly sought-after speakers and gurus, I can do it too.". Of course, that didn't happen immediately until when I started The Raygacy Show in 2017.
With all that aside, this podcast is highly recommended. After stumbling upon The School of Greatness, I can't get enough of him and his guests. The subjects are all very real and hit home on every level. His smooth calm but robust interview techniques are wholesome and fulfilling. The listeners are left both more beautifully educated yet satisfied with being thoroughly entertained.

3) Young And Profiting Podcast by Hala Taha
When I first heard of this podcast on Spotify 2 years ago, it undoubtedly became one of my favorite podcasts. Each guest Hala interviews has such insightful and inspirational topics, experiences, and good pieces of advice. Some of my favorite episodes are her interviews with Ryan Serhant, Patrick Bet David, Ed Mylett, Seth Godin and so much more! Join?Hala?as?she?speaks?with?some?of?the?world's?most?intelligent?individuals?and?distills their knowledge into practical advice that anybody, regardless of age, career, or industry, can use in their own lives. They cover a variety of topics, including how to increase productivity, how to gain influence, the art of side hustles, and more! BONUS
Last but not least, I know this is shameless self-promotion here but I want you guys to know that this is my podcast which I've started 5 years ago. I realized that many people were misusing Facebook Lives by recording negative events like bullies, fights, or road accidents, so I decided I wanted to add a positive voice to that medium. I wanted to educate, inspire and add some positivity to the entrepreneurship community, as it’s widely known that 70% of small businesses and start-ups will fail by the end of the decade.
The Raygacy Show is the channel where I pick the brains of the best entrepreneurs you have in this world such as Gary Vee, Grant Cardone, Paul Getter, Steve Sims and etc to find out from them what are some of the simple and effective steps that millennials can take to experience success in the swiftest and most effective way possible. I am proud to say that the people who have listened to the podcast have experienced personal transformation because they have gotten the tips they needed to move forward.
With that said, I hope I've helped persuade you to start listening to podcasts.?Trust me, once you start, you'll never look back!
