3 Pillars of Networking

Will, Skill, and Connect: The Three Pillars of Leadership Networking

Networking is an essential skill for leaders in today's increasingly interconnected world. By building relationships with people from different backgrounds and industries, leaders can gain access to new information, opportunities, and perspectives. This can help them to achieve their personal and professional goals, and to make a positive impact on the world.

There are three key pillars of leadership networking at Lean2Lead Pune : #Will2Lead, #Skill2Lead and #Connect2Lead

#Will2Lead

The first pillar of leadership networking is will. This refers to the desire to build relationships with others. Leaders who are willing to put in the time and effort to connect with people will be more successful at networking. They will be more likely to reach out to new people, to attend networking events, and to follow up with people they meet.

#Skill2Lead

The second pillar of leadership networking is skill. This refers to the ability to build relationships effectively. Leaders who have good networking skills are able to connect with people on a personal level, to build rapport, and to leave a positive impression. They are also able to use networking to build skills required to achieve their goals, enabling them in finding new job opportunities, by getting advice from mentors, and raising awareness for their cause.

#Connect2Lead

The third pillar of leadership networking is connect. This refers to the network of people that a leader has built. Leaders with a strong network are able to tap into the knowledge, skills, and resources of their contacts. This can help them to solve problems, to get things done, and to achieve their goals.

Will, skill, and connect are the core three pillars of leadership networking. Leaders who develop these skills will be more successful at building relationships with others and achieving their goals.

In addition to the three pillars, there are a number of other factors that can contribute to successful leadership networking. These include:

  • Being authentic and genuine.?People are more likely to connect with others who are genuine and authentic.
  • Being a good listener.?Active listening is an important skill for building relationships.
  • Being supportive and encouraging.?People are more likely to want to connect with others who are supportive and encouraging.
  • Being open to new ideas.?Leaders who are open to new ideas are more likely to find people who share their interests and goals.
  • Being able to focus in Giving more than receiving, the mindset of Go Giver brings more return towards the time invested

By developing these skills and qualities, leaders can build strong networks that will help them to achieve their goals and make a positive impact on the world.
