3 Paper Cup Cakes and Chinese Medicine?

I read a post recently on a website called the Power of Positivity which discussed traditional Chinese Medicine and the energy meridians as connected with sleep and waking at certain hours of the night.

Waking between three and five in the morning, amongst other things is considered by Chinese practitioners as a message from a Higher Power alerting you to your higher purpose.  Well, this is when I woke up to the idea that all paper objects we're so familiar with might actually have a life of their own. Sound crazy?  Perhaps in fact it was my higher purpose, and I now had to get it out to the world.

Everyone loves a new fresh way of looking at things and to imagine that everything from tissue boxes to envelopes and even toilet rolls, beside the obvious pizza boxes could set the stage for unique caricatures that act out their lives in a world of paper.  What bizarre possibilities this presented?  Wow!  Then, the name hit me:  "The Paperartzi"  They are all constructed from my paper sculpture art and are one part art and one part unique character identities.   

The image above has three "girls" out kicking up their heels and having fun together; they're on stage at the Moulin Rage!  Oh, that's the other part of the story: I have always loved playing with words and these characters were the perfect platform to exercise both the paper sculpture art, a love of caricaturing and my style of humour.
