3 Most Bizarre But Important Interview Question Every HR Should be Asking in 2022.

It's pretty agreeable that interview questions are the key to making a successful hire.?

We all know those standard questions—like?

"What are your strengths and weaknesses?”?

"Why did you leave your last job?”?

"What is your greatest flaw?" and?

"Where do you see yourself in five years?"—are just not cutting it anymore.?

Those are all important questions, but they don't give you an insight into how candidates would actually work at the company.

That's why we believe interview questions should take a new turn. Interview questions should really help you get more insights into your candidates' personalities, values, and lifestyles.

Top 3 interview questions should now be:

1. Do you workout??

People who work out tend to take better care of their health, and that means they are less likely to take leave and thus more likely to be productive.

2. Do you have a gym membership??

A gym membership shows willpower and discipline. Willpower and discipline are great traits to have in your employees. Following through with an investment into a quality of life and seeing it through by visits really says much about being result-driven. These are important traits that can impact performance at the office.?

3. How many hours do you spend on traffic??

You can learn about a candidate's ability to handle stress just by asking them about their daily commute.

While the conventional interview questions are essential, it's important to ask questions that will tell you how candidates will interact with their peers, their physical and health state, and how much value they'll bring to the company beyond their proficient skills. Workplace culture already has a new dynamic to how employees now react to the pressure of work. Having a healthy lifestyle is definitely one to watch out for.

Dear HR, what are you looking out for in your new hire today?

I don't agree with the 1st question. Well, it's just my opinion. I don't think there are any data or studies to prove that employees that are less likely to go on leave are more productive. At the same time, we keep preaching work-life balance. Going on leave has nothing to do with whether you are physically healthy or not.
