3 Men's Conference Lessons I Learned

The 3-day Men's Conference weekend in New York helped me learn lessons.
Lsssons to learn how to be a legacy builder and show leadership.?
Here are three lessons I learned:
Lesson #1: If you want to build a legacy, build a legacy that is bigger than you.
You want to set an example.?
To show how it's possible through hard work and grit.
Every day, people look up to you.
How you treat people online and offline shapes people's view of who you are.
Be trustworthy.?
Give the people around you your time and attention.
Grow what you've been given to pass it on.
This is an everyday test to think about.
What you do with the gift of life and how you treat people defines your legacy.
If you haven't built a legacy, it's a good time to start small.
Start with the people around you. Ask how you can make their lives easier.
Be someone who makes a difference.
Lesson #2: A leader is able to inspire to aspire.

When you inspire people, you show the way from your story.
To look at leadership, go back to the earlier years of your life.
With your parents, your upbringing, or a role model.
Teachers are great examples who can inspire you to aspire.
Learn from who you want to be, and inspire people to be the best versions of themselves.
Lesson #3: Help people shine.
It doesn't matter if you are a Baby Boomer, Gen X, a millennial, or Gen Z.
Lift someone up. Help people become better.
Give a compliment. Send a text message.
I received a text from volunteering throughout the weekend on Sunday night from a leader.
He thanked me for my service. He said this:?
"Your dedication, attention to detail and willingness to step in and handle things with grace and excellence is greatly appreciated."
I helped pack every bag for every man who attended the conference.?
Also followed up.
Always find lessons in any event or conference you attend. You learn more and enjoy yourself more.
