3 Luxurious Biophilic Interior Design Projects

It’s been said over and over that home interiors have changed. Spaces gained new functions and purposes, serving as offices and classrooms. And while that is the case, people are concerned into bringing the outdoors in, and creating an inviting space that features glimpses of the outdoors. This trend has grown so much that, by the end of 2020, William D. Browning published the book “Nature Inside: A Biophilic Design Guide”. And what is Biophilic Design? It is as simple as bringing the outdoors in. Whether it is by incorporating natural materials, shapes or colors – or even a picture of the outdoors – Biophilic Design is well known to increase well being and serenity.

KOKET is a flora lover herself. We seek for inspiration in nature’s most raw and beautiful forms. It comes as no surprise that some of the Interior Designers that have worked with us share the same values and taste. Explore three KOKET projects that combine sustainable design and integrating nature’s most luxurious motifs.

Grand Meets Green

Located in the luxurious Jubilee Hills Neighborhood in Hyderabad, India, this rustic masterpiece combines sustainability and gorgeous art pieces. NA Architects valued natural light and an obvious connection with the greenery outside. The use of materials such as wood and stone complements the clarity of the spaces. Enhancing the formal living room is the flower-shaped Revê Mirror finished in a black exterior with a high gloss metallic interior.

Portadown Project

Set in the Irish countryside, this home has everything to be in our list of favorites. Embellished by the beautiful views, the living room is a warm and family-functional space, featuring a calming neutral color palette – and pops of jewel tones from KOKET’s Besame Chairs. The Besame Chair is a fully upholstered accent chair with captivating curves and succulent lines. Kris Turnbull, from Kris Turnbull Studios, sought to create an extension of what is seen outside and incorporated beautiful decorative elements.

Art Apartment

Inspired by the Art Deco roots of the apartment’s architecture, RECDI8 Living designed a calming bedroom, right in the center of Barcelona, Spain. The goal was to recover and enhance the original elements while adding unique finishes and furniture. In order to convey feelings of comfort and romanticism, the Nymph Chandelier was the clearest choice. Gold Plated Filigree Butterflies make an obvious association with Biophilic Design.
