Hey - It's Craig.
It’s cloudy outside and it's 37 degrees in New York.
Today, we're going to talk about three lessons learned in March.
Are you ready? Let's go!
------------------------------
March taught me a few things.
About relationships and trying new stuff.
Here are three lessons I learned this month:
Lesson #1: Don't be afraid to try or test out new things.
This past Sunday, I wrote a post for the first time on a Sunday.
It was a tip to take a comment into a post.
The post was about:
Testing, learning, and listening as you start your week.
At the moment, it has:
29 reactions, 48 comments, and 4,256 impressions.
It's a solid post with tips to go back to.
Also tried out a new format for a post.
Try new things.
Experiment.
You never know what works until you try.
Lesson #2: Listen to learn.
I had a phone call this past Wednesday with a Customer Success Coach.
She said this:

"Fortune is in the follow-up".
It's also a book.
She explained how follow-ups are key to strong relationships.
Even the advice she gave:
"To take 5 minutes or more to do one action to build momentum"
Before - I used to wait 5 to 9+ days to send a DM after connecting.
Now - I send a DM ASAP to show care and attention.
Think about it:
The first 24 hours of connecting with someone is key.
Be someone who follows up with care.
Lesson #3: Think of others before you think of yourself.
A post came up yesterday.
It was to tag favorite content creators who wrote career content.
I tagged 5 people to give them the spotlight.
The same day, I got tagged in a post of people.
You want to be someone people know and can trust.
It's the key to building bonds.
Build a social bank by leaving deposits first.
You earn trust and social equity.
To recap:
1. Don't be afraid to try or test out new things.
2. Listen to learn.
3. Think of others before you think of yourself.

1 年They all are great Craig but 3rd one is my favorite - Think of others before you think of yourself. Here is what I learned last month: 1. Continue self-assessment 2. Have faith in the process I create content on daily basis from last 5 months and it is going ok so far. I wanted my content to reach to many more people so I keep assessing my content performance and I kept making changes to my content strategy. 2 of my posts got great engagements last month.
