Hi! This is Craig.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
It’s sunny outside and it's 39 degrees in New York.
Are you ready? Let's go!
------------------------------
January brought lessons and a "disconnection".
Here are three lessons learned in January:
Lesson #1: Make the time you have count.
Getting my haircut this month helped save time.
The barber took days off from January 9th to January 31st.
When you wait, goals wait.
Lesson #2: Show you care with your actions.
This month, a connection hibernated her LinkedIn account.
It was from her fears.
Fears and mental health is serious.
When asked how she was feeling, she said:
"Thank you for asking. Much needed break."
When you show how you care, it makes a difference to people.
She's back on LinkedIn.
Lesson #3: It's the first month of 2023. Relax.
Yesterday, got a message from a fellow connection, Gunnika.

She said:
"Hey Craig!
I loved your comment on my recent post.
I noticed that you were inactive for a long time.
I hope everything is okay at your end?"
This scared me.
Due to the confusion, sent a message:
"Hey Gunnika,
I haven't been inactive at all. I posted last Tuesday and Saturday. Posted every week in 2022 and 2023 without missing at all."
She said:
"Yes!
I meant inactive in my comments section."
What she means is this:
She misses my comments on her posts. She wanted to know if everything is okay in my life.
Let's relax.
The notification bell is on, but her posts are not showing up.
The best way is to comment with value on recent and past posts.
Not everything will go the way you planned it.
Take a step back. Focus on what you have to do.
Remain calm. Cool, calm, and Craig-lectted.
It's the first month of 2023. Things will improve.

2 年The notification glitch is something that often happens on LinkedIn! My go-to strategy is just to search for my favourite creators and bookmark their profiles.
