Hey - It's Craig!
It’s cloudy outside and it's 43 degrees in New York.
Today, we will talk about 3 lessons learned from a manicure.
Are you ready? 3...2...1... Go!
------------------------------
On Monday, I went to a manicure appointment.
It was a routine for keeping my nails groomed.
Ever felt afraid the first time someone worked on your nails or hair?
I did.?
I used to think trying someone else was a risk.
But after having an experience with Susan on Monday...
Now I understand how variety is a spice of life.?
Here's what I learned:
Lesson #1: Listen to a nail technician and ask for stories.
Susan reflected on the experience she had with clients.
Some nails crack. Some nails peel. Some nails bleed.
She mentioned how my nails were healthy and strong.
This is not the first time.
It's every time with a nail technician.
Lesson #2: Ask for advice.
Nail technicians can help you strengthen your nails.
Ever ask nail technicians for advice?
They know more than you think.
I brought my own nail kit from Anew International.

It's for natural nails.
Susan saw the tools and mentioned I have everything for nail care.
She worked with Gaby who worked on my nails last time.
Gaby used the same tools I used and she gave me advice.
"Make sure to put the Gold Stone in the water."
"Don't let it break."
"Keep your nails clean."
So far, so good.
Next time you go to a place for nails or hair, ask for advice.
You will be happy you asked.
Lesson #3: Thank the nail technician.
Nail technicians don't get enough credit.
They take care of your nails.
They give advice.
Sometimes nail advice. Sometimes life advice.
They are providing a service.
What I learned from this experience is this:
Don't be afraid to try different people. You may have a new favorite.
Some people will no longer be there.
Be prepared for the worst and find the best people love.
To recap:
1. Listen to a nail technician and ask for stories.
2. Ask for advice.
3. Thank the nail technician.
