You probably already know this, but the internet is saturated with content. And let's face it--most of it isn't good. Especially when it comes to B2B content.

If you want to stand out from the noisy crowd, you'll need to focus on creating good content.

Like REALLY good content.

So what makes content "good"? That's a little subjective, isn't it?

Everyone's concept of good content will vary, but there's still 1 thing everyone is looking for in content--value.

Typically, content like this can be categorized into 3 types:

?? Educational?- Teaching your audience something new

???? Inspiring?- Lift your audience out of a slump, empower them to take action

?? Entertaining?- Make your audience laugh or give them a good time!

All great content will fall into 1 of these categories, but sometimes they can overlap. You can educate and entertain at the same time, for example.

In fact, sometimes it's better to create a mix of the 3 types. It'll help your content stand out and make it feel unique. Don't be afraid to mix things up.

But as long as you're aiming for providing value, you're golden. ????

PUTTING IT INTO PRACTICE

Ok, ready to start creating better videos? Here's some action steps you can start taking today:

1. Think about your current videos. How would you categorize them, and has that category been working for you?
2. What category do you want to focus on in the future?
3. Write down some ideas on how you can switch or combine categories. For example, how could you make something inspiring?and?entertaining?

Which category you focus on will need to be incorporated into your overall video marketing strategy, so you want to give it some real thought. But like all marketing, some simple experimentation could go a long way.
