3 Keys to Achieve a Healthy Lifestyle While Working from Home

Here’s an interesting study from the University of Southern California published in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.

In their report, more than 64 percent of respondents reported experiencing one or more new physical health issues while working from home.

Truth to be told, this approach is not as easy as it looks. In the beginning, everyone thought that it would be a fun experience, but two years later, people still struggle with it today.

But work should be fun and not boring, don’t you think? Even as a mother of 2, it was hard for me to maintain a work-life balance with a healthy lifestyle.

However, these three things made a significant difference to my health. Let’s see if it can be helpful for you by any means.

  • Separate Office Space

One of the most important things is to have a separate office space where you can focus. In the beginning, I had my office space in my bedroom. But it was soon when I realized that bringing in work materials interferes with my ability to relax later on.

When you mix up your workspace with personal space, it creates mental associations that keep you occupied with professional obligations even when you are not working. Even if the place is small, having a separate chair and work table will be enough.?

  • Sitting Posture

The root cause of all the back issues is the way you sit. Period.

So, it is essential to invest in a comfortable chair that keeps you aligned throughout the day. It is also essential to get up every hour and go out for a walk at least once a day.?

It can be easy to get stuck in your seat. The best thing to do is set a timer to remind you to get up and stretch every hour. If nothing is possible, you can always go out to get some fresh air to watch sunsets.

  • Morning Routine

This scientific research has stated that a morning routine can reduce procrastination, boost confidence, and act as a catalyst to improve your overall health.?

Because whatever you do in the morning matters. It decides how your overall day would be like. So, it is always a good idea to decide whether you need a dull workday or a productive day starting with your morning routine. The key here is to get up a bit earlier than usual and make your bed first.?

The key is to have a routine and follow it every day. You can figure out what works best for you, and other things will fall into place throughout the day! After that, you can exercise a bit, go out for a walk, list down things to do by today, have your breakfast, etc.

And oh, make sure you keep yourself hydrated because that goes without saying! If you follow these essential three tips, I am sure your health will hit the top, making you even more energized to have amazing days every day.?
