High Horsepower Engines Test Cell Design, Construction, and Integration

Our client, a global heavy equipment manufacturer, planned to enter a new market with a high horsepower engine for ships, rail, and power generation—much larger and faster than their current products. They aimed to modify and expand their existing space for mechanical, performance, and production testing, with the flexibility to convert test cells to production as their business needs shifted from R&D to manufacturing.

ACS handled the design, construction management, and commissioning of 12 new test cells, overseeing the integration of technical equipment and the entire construction process. The solution featured adaptable mechanical test cells, designed for easy conversion into production cells as needed, along with dedicated production and performance test cells.
