However, what I have learnt, not only my professional career,?

But also, my personal experiences,?

Is that communication is a constant work of art!

Effective communication with clients and stakeholders (like relationships) is paramount.

It’s how we share creative ideas,?

How we set expectations,?

How we voice our concerns,?

And most importantly in events, how we collaborate.?

Establish Clear Objectives & Expectations?

Ensuing you understand and are clear about the clients objectives for the event and what they want to achieve creates the foundation for how you will move forward throughout the rest of the event.? Make sure you take the time to sit down with your client and stakeholders to align on goals, desired outcomes, and specific requirements to then lay out the brief and the plan for the event.? This will also help minimise misunderstandings and ensure everyone is on the same page.

Create Open & Transparent Communication Channels

Create a meeting cadence for your event that allows regular check ins with your clients, stakeholders and team and create an environment where people feel safe to the be open and transparent.? In addition, create channels that facilitate easy and ongoing communication between all parties, whether it be email updates, project management tools or platforms.? Foster a culture of active listening and constructive feedback to get the best out of your teams.

Everyone has a different way in which they convey and receive information.?
