3 top tips to make your CV Stand-out for your next career move.
We were brainstorming on a Friday, and thinking about how we can help candidates that are thinking about making a move now and in 2020, and with our 20 years of experience, working with a wide range of clients and globally operating, we wanted to share some of our thoughts with everyone.
1) Ensure your CV is clear, concise and easy to read - not to busy a page. (helps hiring managers review and feel good about your experience and to understand)
2) Ensure you have had a good think about what you have done in each of your roles/projects, what you have been responsible for and how you impacted the project, product or delivery and outcome and the success or wins that this created in the team/organisation or across the business.
3) Consider how you use I or We within your CV.
We know that hiring managers across more and more industries are looking for real-life examples and show that you have a passion and care for your work and role. They will drill down on this and want to know what you did! and also ensure you have a clear idea of what you said in your cv, and they will want you to expand on the great content in your CV, so you must be able to back it up with further information and examples.
Have a great week and hope this helps when you come writing or editing your old CV and helping you secure your next amazing new challenge. ??
