3 fundraising tools for Non-Profits to use in 2018

When working in the non-profit sector you are sometimes faced with limitations that others working in (especially big) companies do not experience as much. Two of those are multitasking and budget. I personally am a big fan of solutions that make it easy for donors to get involved and whose impact is maximised by the "crowd". Today I will be presenting 3 free tools I have used in the last year to support NGOs and help them find the funds they need.

1. Helpfreely

You can register your charity on this website and have your followers and donors support you each time they buy online in one of the 200 partner shops. It works as a Web extension and it won't cost the people who use it a cent more than the usual price. Helpfreely donates a percentage of the amount of your cart to your NGO. It is a great tool to use if you have a wide circle of contributors. The website is available in English, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and French.

2. Teaming

Made for non-profits by a non-profit. You can collect microdonations of 1€ a month easily just by introducing this alternative way of funding in your usual fundraising plan. 100% of each euro donated goes to the social cause chosen by each Teamer, without any commission or managing fee applied. More than 200,000 donors already take part in this initiative and 10 million euros have been collected to support thousands of causes. The website is available in English, Spanish, Catalan, Italian and French. It will soon be available in German and Portuguese thanks to a team of volunteers.

3. Lilo

Imagine raising funds just by switching search engines. This is as simple as it gets. By using the Lilo search engine you will automatically collect waterdrops that you can then donate to a charity. Every 1000 drops/searches result in around 2-3 euros donated to your charity. The website is available in English, Spanish, Italian and French.

What other tools are you using on a daily basis? Please share them in the comments!
