3 Easy ways to increase your engagement Today.

1. Get a great headshot and tell people about it. I got my headshot done by John Murray and now and then people ask me about it so I often do a tweet thanking him. First of all, it makes John happy so he shares it to his network. (Thanks John) Also it is adding value to your community as a lot of people aren't sure who to go to to get that perfect headshot. Also it starts a conversation around headshots and others are tagged when people talk about why they got theirs done.

Create a Twitter or Linkedin poll. Ask your community a question. Try to get 100 responses by sharing the link later in the evening or at different times. Use the results to write a blog post or article about the poll and a solution to the issue that came up. Use responses or comments as an opportunity to add value.

The above poll helped me in a workshop I was delivering to a company where they had a lot of followers but they weren't actually following many people back. They were surprised to see what they had been doing was actually a negative.

Put up a 'behind the scenes' photo of what you are up to. We are nosey and want to see what you are doing. That meeting you are heading to or the workshop you are delivering. I've often posted photos of a workshop I am delivering and next thing I am getting a query about when my next one is.
