3 Easy Ways to Collaborate

Throughout my many years in business, I've seen many friends and entrepreneurs change multiple elements of their businesses, but none of which has been as rapid and drastic as when the pandemic hit. There were many highs and lows when taking on these new challenges that no one could have accounted for, but what separates those who pivot, is collaboration.?

In 2018, I completely decentralised my team, ahead of the work from home now we are now living. There were so many amazing minds that I wanted to collaborate with and to have involved in my projects, that I wouldn’t let the distance stop me! Some of my team, I still have not met face to face but it has become a very common business practise if you want to have the best suited people working for you!

We are constantly innovating and transforming the way we do things as we move forward to ensure the team are all on the same page. Even though we may not all be in the same place, the art of collaborating with these amazing people has enabled us to drive our business forward.?

Now I know a lot of you have nailed the WFH home thing, but if you haven’t, that’s okay! Here are three ways to ensure amazing collaborations:

1. Have great communication with your team?

Make sure your team are on the same page and you are regularly communicating with them and checking in. We find there are many great apps you can use to list tasks to make it easy for the team to move in sync.

2. Master the art of pivoting!

This can take practise but once you master the mindset it can change everything! When obstacles arise, instead of looking at them and turning the other way in defeat – see them as a challenge to run towards them - especially in times like this! Assess the obstacle and if there really is no way around it, find someone equipped who does!?
