Trick #1 - Reduce bounce rate by showing users what they want to see
User arrived at your website for a reason:
To find a solution to their problem.
If they do not see what they want within the first few seconds, then your chance is gone.
You need to understand what your users want and show that to them... but how do you determine what information they want?
Well, you can get started quickly by looking into your Google Analytics.
Navigate to Behavior --> Site Content --> All Pages
Look at the top 5 pages of your site that have the:
- Highest Pageviews
- Highest Avg. Time on Page
From there, you will be able to know which pages are popular and engaging.
Once so:
Make these pages prominence on your Home/Landing Page/Sidebar!
Place it inside your sliding banner, make space for it above the fold...
Do what you need to ensure they are seen easily.
By utilizing pages that are already engaging with your users, you are making your pages work even harder for you.

Trick #2 - Increase time spent on site with "You might also like" content for users
Human likes discovering new things.
This is just how we are being wired:
We're wired to seek and to really enjoy the thrill of the hunt.
When we discover new things, in this case, a new post that we might also like, Dopamine is being released.
Dopamine is a key player in the brain system concerned with reward-driven learning. It rewarding experiences and regulates our motivation to act.
Here is the step-by-step to implement that for your Wordpress CMS website:
#1 - Navigate to your Plugins page, and search for any suitable Related Post plugin. For my site, I use "Related Post"
#2 - Once installed, activate it and you are ready to go!
It is just that easy. ;)
Trick #3 - Increase your traffic by making it easy for user to share
Path of least resistance - That is what we like.
Make it easy for your user to share your content and they will be more willing to share it.
To make it easy for your user to share your content, install this into your Wordpress CMS:
#1 - Navigate to your Plugins page, and search for "Share Buttons by AddThis"
Once you activated it, the share button will appear on pages that you have specified.
Of course, just installing it won't automatically increase your website traffic. You will need to ask for it!
Add a sentence at the end of your post and remind users to share your content if they like it! (Actually... If you like what I've written, please help me to share it! :D)
