3 crazy numbers about goals.
Let's talk goals real quick:
- According to studies, 92% of resolutions fail.
- According to the New York Times, 81% of people want to write a book and less than 1% do.
- According to a recent study, people who make their goals smaller are 63% more successful.
That last one was really surprising to me, because I am the one who commissioned the study that revealed that. I worked with a researcher to study nearly 900 people as they worked on goals over a six-month period. That stat is just one of the surprising things we found.
If you want to be good at goals or maybe even more importantly, want your team to be good at goals, read my new book Finish.
It came out today and is already at #4 on Amazon. (It's behind Stephen King and the children's book about the movie Die Hard, of course.)
If you want to make more money, get more promotions and have more fun, learn how to finish.
