Here are the 3 common mistakes that ruin your brand.

1-     Sending an email to distributor, whom you haven’t met before, asking for business cooperation. This is enough to build in the distributor's mind that your brand is cheap, and anyone can be a distributor for your products. If you want to make contact with potential distributors whom you haven’t met before, a phone call should be your first choice, then drop him an e-mail.

2-     Staying in low class hotels, some export managers would like to cut expenses and save money, who wouldn't?, so when they go on a business trip to meet their distributors or potential distributors they don’t select 5 stars hotel! The MENA region is a showing off market, and Arabic distributors really give such details their importance.

3-     Assigning distributors or granting them exclusivity without visiting distributor’s offices & Warehouses. Manufacturer or manufacturer representative must visit and meet distributors at their offices checking their staff and building facilities before assigning distributor
