3 Changes You Can Make to Attract Top Talent

3 Changes You Can Make to Attract Top Talent

We’re still in a place where finding the right people is hard or it’s taking significantly longer to find the right talent.

But we are a people business. We’re only as good as our people, our clients, and the work we do. My approach and methodology to recruiting is to take a holistic view of a candidate, I take the time to hear their stories and realize their full potential. Here are four things that you can do to find that top talent.

1. Finding client relationships that fit

It’s easy to say, but a hard principle to stick to: qualifying potential client partnerships beyond the obvious factors. We get behind the brief to really understand what a client wants and needs.

2. Growing our own

It’s important to avoid simply finding a candidate a job then going off the grid. Opportunity and growth are open to those who show talent, skill and application. People don’t want to be pigeonholed as ‘one thing’ for the entirety of their career. We love multipotentialities.

3. Closer support

Recent times have shown that resilience and adaptability are crucial, but everyone needs to know they are supported. It’s okay to be more open, that we all have vulnerabilities. I’ve been laid off so, I often share that his was the catalyst to starting my own recruitment company. Push past one-word answers to the ‘how are you?’ question.?
