The 3 Biggest Reflections of 2024

8 days removed from 2024, I can't help but look back and be amazed at the magical year it was.
A lot of firsts.
Consistency.
Failures.
The goal I had in my mind at the beginning of 2024 was to put myself out there a lot more and most importantly, as much as I can, live in the moment and live the moment.
Looking back, I think I did pretty well.
The list doesn't seem to end.
But throughout all these experiences, interactions and emotions, I felt there were 3 important realisations/reflections I would like to carry with me this year and the upcoming ones.
The greatest metric measures the impact we create, not the views we collect.
As a content creator and social media marketer, it is easy for me to fall into the trap of seeking more views and in the process, forget my 'why' and let my focus and energy derail.
While numbers do speak volumes, it's their emptiness that echoes the loudest.
The realisation lies in the fact that the value of content doesn't just lie in the number of views it accumulates but more so in the impact it creates, the hearts it touches and the change it brings about. If you can see that, you're doing good!
I understand views are important and are measurable but just because one can’t measure something doesn’t make it less important.

Time can be my most powerful astra…or a weapon of self-destruction.
In other words, time can be my best friend or my worst enemy.
In simpler words, time waits for no one.
If I wish to be more and do more, time management should be my priority not only to get things done on time but also to make time for those things and people whom 'I would have to sacrifice' to make things work for me.
I aspire to be a complete storyteller - a Jack of all things storytelling.
I don't like being known as just a social media marketer or a content creator.
I want to be more.
I believe in this:
A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.
And so, in 2025, the goal is to slow down but go all in.
