The 3 biggest mistakes entrepreneurs are making when it comes to building a brand and how it costs them Time + Profit

Focusing on what doesn't matter kills your brand and I see every entrepreneur/ business owner make the 3rd mistake which causes them Time + Profit.

Let's go!

Mistake No 1: Your message is all over the place. You feel it when you look at your content and the emails that you're writing.

-- Your Live Stream is about something else

-- Your Blogging is about something different.

-- Your email is about an offer that has absolutely nothing to do with your niche.

-- Your Instagram and Instagram content says something different.

This causes a lack of consistency In messaging which is equal to No Trust and trusts me 'Trust' plays a big role in converting ideal customers into paying clients.

Mistake No 2: Spending your time building the look of your brand first: You're bothering about the colors and the photos to use on your website.

Wasting time designing your logo. What's going to happen when you put all your energy into doing this?

No one would come.

That is not what pulls someone in, it never grows your community, and it plays a small role but too many entrepreneurs are spending most of their time focusing on these things that are not moving their business forward.

And what is it costing you?

Time and time are precious as you build your business. When you have the time, you should use it to do something that could deliver results to you. You have only 15 seconds to keep someone on your website and there are other things like your copy and your messaging that are going to be way more impactful than just a few fonts that you are choosing.

What do you need then? Clarity on your story and the story of your audience. This is what would pull your audience in. When they land on your website and read something that resonated with them, they want more. So this is what would keep them longer than 15 seconds.

Mistake No 3: Marketing before your brand is established. So if you're showing up creating content and it feels like it's not working, it's pretty because your brand is not established.

You don't know who you are and what you stand for, then you start to look externally for motivation.

For example, You say something like this: " If this type of video worked for her, then it should work for me too.

It doesn't work that way and you wouldn't get the same results.

When you know who you are, your audience, and how you want to show up. You can take any marketing strategy and make it work for you.

There are a million ways to market your business and non of them would work for you if you don't know these fundamental pieces.

I so needed to read this, this morning. That is my exact problem spot on. I thought I had my niche but as it turns out, my blog, my various profiles, everything is so wishy-washy. I was beginning to doubt my writing but I know that's not the issue, and after reading your newsletter it all makes sense. I still don't know what direction I'm heading in but at least now I understand the problem. Thank you.
