Now let’s dive into this week’s topic.

This week, we are once again attacking the concept of confidence through the power of three: 3 challenging questions, and 3 actionable challenges.

These are designed to inspire self-reflection, provoke action, and give you some proven ways to help evaluate, and increase your own confidence. Confidence isn't just a mindset; it’s a series of choices, actions, and follow-throughs that shape who we are and how we show up in the world.?

?Let’s dive right in.

?

3 Questions About Confidence

1. What is one area or situation in your life where you feel the most confident? Why do you think this is?

Reflection: Chances are, you feel confident in this area because you've put in time, effort, and reps. It may not have even been intentional. However familiarity breeds experience and experience breeds confidence. Use this insight as a blueprint—apply the same dedication to areas where you want to build confidence, understanding that it’s simply a matter of experience and repetition.

?

2. Who is someone you know, that you consider highly confident? Why?

Reflection: Think about their specific characteristics—are they clear in their communication? Are they willing to take risks? Do they follow through on their promises? Do they walk into a room a certain way or speak their intentions into existence? Often, the people we admire exude qualities we secretly know we want to embody ourselves. Take notes from them, not to copy, but to find inspiration for your own growth.

?

3. What part of the day or week do you feel the most self-doubt?

Reflection: Identifying when your confidence wanes can reveal what triggers your self-doubt. Is it in the evenings when you’re tired, or at the end of the week when you’ve let some habits slip? Awareness is key. By recognizing these patterns, you can make intentional choices to shift self-doubt into moments of confidence by making small, positive decisions that counteract the usual spiral. Habits stack quickly and one or two decisions can be the difference between feeding your self-doubt, or fueling your confidence.?

3 Confidence Challenges

?1. Compliment Someone Every Day (extra credit if it’s a stranger)

Why: This may seem silly or played out, but there is a reason this exercise is so powerful. Complimenting someone is a win-win—it boosts the other person’s day and makes you feel good about yourself. Confident people speak up, so use this as a small way to practice expressing yourself positively. Compliments can be simple: “I love your shoes! Where did you get them?” or “You did an amazing job today; I just wanted to acknowledge your hard work.”?

?

2. Dress Like Your Most Confident Self

Why: In the words of Coach Prime, Deion Sanders, “When you look good—you feel good, when you feel good—you play good, and when you play good—they pay good!” Confidence often starts with how we feel about ourselves, and dressing the part can give you a tangible boost. Ask yourself, “If I was at a 10/10 confidence level, how would I dress today?” Studies show that dressing well positively impacts your mindset, so embrace it and set the tone for each day this week. Wear your favorite workout outfit to the gym. Dress “confident professional” for all your zoom calls, and make sure you are well groomed, even if working from home. Even dress nice this weekend just to go to the grocery store. Watch how different you show up when you are feeling good about how you look and feel.

?

3. No Broken Promises (to Other and YOURSELF)

Why: Confidence builds when you prove to yourself that you can be relied upon. This week, commit only to what you’re genuinely willing to follow through on. Every small promise you keep—whether it’s a morning workout, a work task, or saying no to something unnecessary—adds to your confidence. Remember, confidence doesn’t come from lots of commitments–but from consistent follow-through. So commit to way less, and be obsessive with your follow-through.

The Power of Small, Daily Actions

This week’s exercises might seem simple or even silly, but these small actions can compound into big confidence gains over time. Confidence isn’t something you are born with and you can’t expect it to be there for you when you need it the most—if you haven’t trained it. It’s something you must build day by day, action by action. My goal for you is to use these “3 Sets of 3” as your weekly confidence training. Remember—confidence is not a luxury reserved for a select few. It’s an accessible skill, and the more you practice, the stronger it becomes.

So good luck with these challenges, reflect on the questions. Here’s to a week of intentional actions to grow our confidence!

Your Coach,

Brett
