We spent the last 2 years validating a revolutionary tool steel to eliminate the common problems with traditional additive mold steels like Maraging steel. HTC-45 was developed to provide exceptional thermal transfer, double that of Maraging steel. With improved thermal transfer this reduces fatigue and wear on the mold resulting in considerably longer tool life and excellent resistance to cracking and heat check in die-casting applications.
