What do you know so well that you could teach someone else??
?
Take a moment to internalize how special that is and be proud of it. If you’re not already doing so and the thought of teaching someone your special skill excites you, figure out how to make that happen.?
?
That could come in the form of posting about it on social media, volunteering at a local organization, or teaching a kid in the neighborhood.?
THE SCOOP
?
“Harness the Power of Linkedin for Your Nonprofit”?
?
A special thank you to Alice Joyce, SVP, and TowneBank for bringing me in to speak on this topic. It was a packed boardroom of 34 nonprofit leaders with the biggest hearts. Just the best company to be in.?
INSTAGRAM: I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again - carousels. Carousels carousels carousels.
?
LINKEDIN: I’ve yet to see the new news banner on my feed, but I’m excited about all the developments around news and LinkedIn.
?
LINKEDIN: “According to a 2022 report by the advisory firm Brunswick, when applicants research a business they might join, they look first at the company website and then the CEO’s LinkedIn page.”
?
LINKEDIN: Live events are reportedly up by 14.4%.
?
PINTEREST: The upcoming trends Pinterest is promoting.
?
THREADS: I never use this feature on platforms that have it available, but some might find it to be helpful.
?
THREADS: Community features will continue to grow into 2025.
?
THREADS: This is essentially a guide to posting on the platform. “We recommend posting at least two to five times per week.”
?
TIKTOK: I can assume we’ll all see more electronic music featured in our FYPs.
?
YOUTUBE: It looks like this will be similar to TikTok comments that have blue hyperlinks in them.
