Colder evenings are here - which means cozy couch covers, hot drinks and a lot more scrolling for most - so let's make the most of it and ensure it's your brand people are watching!
7 trending sounds you should be using this week!
On the first ‘smile’, film yourself scowling or with a straight face. After the camera shutter sound, share a picture or video of something which makes you smile. On the next ‘smile’, show yourself reacting - with a smile on your face, of course!
Alternatively, you can skip the photo of something which makes you smile and use onscreen text instead.?
2.How are you doing?
Ah, our favourite - a nice, easy lip sync trend with audio from none other than Gemma Collins. Use this sound to tell your audience about a time when things weren’t going ‘brilliantly’, but you had no choice but to keep getting on with it!
3. Cool girls wear…
What do cool gals wear? Although the sound may tell us they wear Birkenstocks, you can add anything you like in here. This one is perfect for those of you selling clothes and accessories!
4. Sunglasses
The basis of this trend is one we’ve seen reoccur multiple times on TikTok - the classic ‘flicking your sunglasses down on to your face’ move.
The onscreen text attached to this trend is to make a statement or joke. After the sunglasses transition, add the ‘but…’ or punchline.

5. ‘At first it was fun. Then scary.’
Another simple lip sync sound which perfectly sums up the journey of going viral! ??
6. ‘I only just finished work…’
This is a particularly good one for fellow social media managers! It also has plenty of POV potential - think ‘me after filming a lip sync TikTok which took me 2 minutes’.
7. Dumb dumb dumb…
Use this song with onscreen text to describe a time you or someone else made a false assumption. When the music changes, use a cut to show your reaction.?
Alternatively, cosplay and makeup creators have developed their own self-parodying trend for this one - showing how people would have made TikToks to the song if it had been released in 2020! ??
In other news Rihanna was confirmed for the coveted Super Bowl halftime performance slot, Royal Mail have announced further strike action over the next couple of months, and Glasgow could possibly be hosting Eurovision next year. What a time to be alive!
We may be heading into the colder months, but taking 30 minutes to film these trends is one surefire way to keep your content hot! ??
