When someone saves your post on LinkedIn, it signals that they find your content valuable enough to revisit later. While LinkedIn doesn’t provide direct metrics on saved posts, high save rates often correlate with increased engagement.
Posts that are saved tend to perform better over time, keeping your content relevant and boosting your long-term visibility.

What Content Leads to More Saves?
Not all content is equally likely to be saved. Images (especially infographics) and documents (such as reports or detailed guides) are saved the most, with images making up 65% of saved posts and documents at 30%.
Posts that offer rich, detailed information—like industry insights or how-to guides—are more likely to be saved for future reference. On the other hand, personal stories, promotional posts, and quick AI-generated content tend to have near-zero save rates.
The Impact and 3 Tips?
1. Create High-Value Content: Focus on detailed, actionable insights or complex visuals (like infographics) to drive saves. Documents and images see over 10x more engagement when saved compared to other formats.
2. Use a Call-to-Action: Posts that explicitly ask users to "Save this post for later!" tend to receive up to 2x more saves. Pair this with high-quality content for maximum impact.
3. Engage with Industry Trends and Case Studies: Text posts that dive into trends or offer detailed case studies also benefit from being saved, as they provide long-term value for users.
