As we progress through 2023 and beyond, take a look at some of the projects Omni Public is proud to play a part in— projects that we believe will shape the future.?
1) Hyperloop Transportation Technologies? | Los Angeles?
As a team at Omni Public, we have the privilege of working with some of the most innovative and forward-thinking entrepreneurs out there. And when it comes to transformative technologies, it doesn't get much more exciting than Hyperloop Transportation Technologies. We've been working to bring this groundbreaking technology to the Southeast United States since 2017, and it's been amazing to see the progress that has been made over the past year. From receiving federal approval and designation from the FRA to develop Hyperloop projects in various regions, to announcing plans to go public through a SPAC, Hyperloop Technology is making waves.
At Omni Public, we've been fortunate to be a part of this journey, collaborating on the development of the first advanced mobility study for the Tampa Bay region and conducting a feasibility study for the state of Florida that could connect Tampa Bay to either Atlanta or Miami. This technology has the potential to completely change the way we move and connect, and we feel honored to be a part of it.?

2) Cancer Therapy | Tampa Bay?
Morphogenesis is making waves in the world of cancer research with their innovative cancer therapy. As the company's trusted advisors, we at Omni Public have had the privilege of supporting their efforts to bring this groundbreaking therapy to the public through an IPO. 3) Empowering the Global Black Tech Diaspora - Black Innovation Alliance | Global?
The Black Innovation Alliance is a non-profit organization that provides resources and funding for black-led organizations in service to innovators of color. Formed in 2020 by two black female ecosystem leaders, BlA, through its 86 partner organizations provides the assistance, guidance and support many black startups and businesses lack. By pooling resources and coordinating efforts across tech and entrepreneurs support organizations, BIA is making a difference.

4) Electric Rideshare? | NYC
In 2017, Omni Public developed a groundbreaking Public Private Partnership with Tesla Motors and a government agency. This partnership aimed to create a transportation network pilot program that used ridesharing to connect passengers to transit hubs. Since then, the concept of using Teslas for rideshare has become popular, with companies like Revel in NYC adopting it. Today, Tesla and other companies continue to explore this innovative approach to transportation.

5) Micromobilty? | Tampa Bay?
Bird Rides is the fastest billion-dollar valued company in American history. In 2018 Omni Public? began working with them to introduce their technology across all of? Florida. Now micromobilty is a popular mode of transportation in both Tampa, St. Pete and throughout Florida. Both cities are expanding their programs across the State of Florida and it's amazing to see everyone in DT Tampa whizzing by on scooters…you are all welcome ;)?

6) Air Taxis | Florida?
In 2019 Omni Public worked with TBARTA on the creation of an advanced mobility study which would entertain novel concepts in advanced mobility. The study looked at Hyperloop Technology, urban gondolas and air taxis. This was the first advanced study in the state of Florida and since then many air taxi companies are looking to expand their offering directly into the state of Florida. At Omni Public we are in stealth mode working with an air taxi company that will be the? first of its kind to open the airways for passenger travel in the Tampa Bay region.?
7) The Future of the Internet? | LA?
One of Omni Public’s more exciting projects has been working alongside Ben Cooke with Topia. The metaverse company is building digital economies through the “confluencer movement” and is backed by Reddit Co. founder, Alexis Ohanian as well as NBA superstar, Kevin Durant. Perhaps one of the? most exciting aspects of the project is CEO Daniel Liebskinds vision for the democratization and freedom of the metaverse for all.?
8) Fighting Mortgage Discrimination through Blockchain | Charlotte
Home Lending Pal led by Bryan Young is tackling mortgage discrimination through the use of blockchain technology. Working alongside Home Lending Pal has been an honor, as we work together to spread the word of technology being the great equalizer. Home Lending Pal has been named one of MIT’s 8 Fiancial Technology Startups to Watch and was recently recognized as one of the top technologies in the world by UNESCO as a company that will help advance the goals of the UN.?
9) The Tampa Bay Wave? | Tampa Bay
As a member of the Tampa Bay Wave team, I am honored to be a part of an organization that is shaping the future economy of Tampa Bay through its innovative programs, including Tech Women Rising, Tech Diversity, Cyber, and FinTech. The Wave understands the importance of building a diverse ecosystem and providing a supportive environment for startups to grow and succeed. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such a forward-thinking and impactful organization.
10) Advancing Inclusion Tech? | Santiago Chile?
Lazarillo, a Chilean tech startup, is helping visually impaired individuals navigate cities, buildings, transportation, and public spaces using innovative technology. This year, with the help of lobbying efforts by Omni Public, Lazarillo has expanded to its first American city. The company's goal is to bring its technology to cities across the United States.
11) Startup Nation Meets the Sunshine State | Florida?
The Florida Israel Business Accelerator (FIBA) is helping Israeli startups enter the U.S. market through its accelerator program based in Tampa Bay. Partnerships with local businesses such as Jabil, Cherry Bekaert, and Janvest Capital Partners have helped FIBA thrive in the Sunshine State.
12) Building the Future Economy | Tampa?
Tampa Bay Ventures is working to establish Tampa Bay as an internationally recognized startup ecosystem by investing in 15 to 20 local tech startups over the next five years. The investment firm, founded in 2020 with an initial $20 million seed fund, has already led its first investment in the procurement and spend analysis platform, Procoto.
13) Evangelizing Systempreneurship | Global?
Systempreneurship at Oxford University is revolutionizing the way global issues are addressed through entrepreneurship. By combining the fields of politics, policy, investment, and entrepreneurship, this innovative academic discipline empowers leaders worldwide with the knowledge and resources they need to bring about positive change in their communities. We at Omni Public are thrilled to be among the first consulting firms to offer systempreneurship as a service.?

14) Turning Waste into Currency | Global?
Global energy and management consulting firm, Minimise USA, works to provide its clients, both public and private, with environmentally sound energy solutions at no cost, and with a payout. Founder and serial entrepreneur, Daniel Badran, created Minimise to have a positive ripple effect across Tampa Bay by partnering with local governments and contractors to create jobs, ultimately infusing capital into the local economy.?
15) Latin Tech Accelerator | Florida?
The Tampa Bay Wave (“Wave”) in coordination with the Tampa Bay Latin Chamber of Commerce received new federal funding to launch the LatinTech Accelerator, an exciting new business accelerator for founders of Latin heritage to build high-growth tech startups. The LatinTech Accelerator will fill a critical gap in Florida’s startup ecosystem, removing barriers for some of the most under-represented US entrepreneurs and making a lasting impact on our regional economy. Wave’s new LatinTech Accelerator was one of 15 Community Projects submitted by U.S. Representative Kathy Castor to the U.S. House of Representatives Appropriations Committee that are being funded by the FY23 budget.
16) Synapse | Florida?
Synapse has been a key driver of innovation across Central Florida. Synapse is a non-profit organization built to connect entrepreneurs, investors and other stakeholders in accelerating the success of Florida’s thriving entrepreneurial communities.? Since its inception in 2018, Synapse now attracts more than 300 companies and drew around 8,000 attendees from across the country last year with its annual Synapse Summit.

17) Delorean AI? | South Florida?
DeLorean AI is the real-world answer to a Science Fiction dream paraded about the marketplace like a hip fashion trend. Dr. Severence MacLauglin’s company is paving the way for artificial intelligence to seamlessly fit into systems that drive our world forward.

18) Tomorrow Land | Tampa
Mark Sharpe and the Tampa Innovation Partnership are working to transform North Tampa, starting with a 100-acre mix-use space occupying what was formerly University Mall on Fowler Avenue. The innovation center, to be called RITHM, hopes to tap into the vibrant university entrepreneurship scene, led by thought leaders and socioeconomic influencers. From medical tech to U.S. Special Operations Command partnerships, RITHM will bring a buzz back to North Tampa.
19) MetaLabs | Charlotte?
In partnership with MassChallenge, the Carolina Fintech Hub has created Meta Lab, a cutting-edge innovation lab that brings together fintech and healthtech startups from around the world to foster collaboration and drive innovation. Located in Charlotte, Meta Lab is a bold, forward-thinking initiative that aims to create a world-class ecosystem for these industries.
20) LunaJoy | St. Pete
LunaJoy is a precision mental health platform that is specialized in women’s mental health through all phases of life, including adolescence, pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, miscarriage, loss, perimenopause and aging. LunaJoy utilizes technology and data science to provide intelligent touchpoints that decrease costs and accelerate outcomes.
“Being a female, not from the startup world, has been part of an interesting journey,” Sipra Laddha, CEO and co-founder of LunaJoy, said. “The other thing is, maternal health is a really easy problem to ignore. We’ve seen the global impact, but it’s a different perspective when you’re an investor and used to investing in general health, or fintech, that has been given a lot of time and attention. But it’s an incredible economic opportunity, and we’re very lucky to have investors who recognized the potential early on.”

22) PsySec - Hook Security | South Carolina?
Hook Security is breaking barriers in the cyber security space with their innovative PsySec security training.? The two-part annual training program focuses on important topics for employees such as phishing, remote work, passwords and more. With PsySec, Hook Security allows users to take a deeper dive into single areas of cyber security in? an interesting and engaging way. In 2021, Hook Security landed a $250,000 investment from SC Launch Inc.?
