At Omni Public we work with the brightest minds in the world and we are extremely grateful to work alongside brilliant people grinding on world-changing ideas. Here are some of the projects we are engaged in that will shape the future.?
1) Hyperloop Transportation Technologies? | LA?
Hyperloop Transportation Technolgies will transform the world. Team Omni Public has been working to introduce the technology to the SouthEast United States since 2017, and throughout the last year Hyperloop Technology has made tremendous progress. Together, we worked on developing the first ever advanced mobility study for the Tampa Bay Region and now, Hyperloop Technology received federal approval allowing government agencies to seek funds to develop Hyperloop Projects in their regions. We are currently continuing work on a feasibility study for the State of Florida that can connect Tampa Bay to either Atlanta or Miami.?

2) Electric Rideshare? | NYC
In 2017 we developed the world's first Public Private Partnership with Tesla Motors and a government Agency. The concept was to create a transportation network pilot program that would utilize ridesharing to connect patrons to transit hubs. Since 2017 the concept of using Teslas for rideshare has caught on and now is common practice by Revel in NYC, and is being pursued by Tesla and beyond.

3) Micromobilty? | Tampa Bay?
Bird Rides is the fastest billion-dollar valued company in American history. In 2018 Omni Public? began working with them to introduce their technology across all of? Florida. Now micromobilty is a popular mode of transportation in both Tampa, St. Pete and throughout Florida. Both cities are expanding their programs across the State of Florida and it's amazing to see everyone in DT Tampa whizzing by on scooters…you are all welcome ;)?

4) Air Taxis | Florida?
In 2019 Omni Public worked with TBARTA on the creation of an advanced mobility study that would entertain novel concepts in advanced mobility. The study looked at Hyperloop Technology, urban gondolas and air taxis. This was the first advanced study in the state of Florida and since then many air taxi companies are looking to expand their offering directly into the state of Florida. At Omni Public we are in stealth mode working with an air taxi company that will be the? first of its kind to open the airways for passenger travel in the Tampa Bay region.?
5) The Future of the Internet? | LA?
One of Omni Public’s more exciting projects has been working alongside Ben Cooke with Topia. The metaverse company is building digital economies through the “confluencer movement” and is backed by Reddit Co. founder, Alexis Ohanian as well as NBA superstar, Kevin Durant. Perhaps one of the most exciting aspects of the project is CEO Daniel Liebskinds vision for the democratization and freedom of the metaverse for all.?
6) Fighting Mortgage Discrimination through Blockchain | Charlotte
Home Lending Pal led by Bryan Young is tackling mortgage discrimation through the use of blockchain technology. Working alongside Home Lending Pal has been an honor, as we work together to spread the word of technology being the great equalizer. Home Lending Pal has been named one of MIT’s 8 Fiancial Technology Startups to Watch and was recently recognized as one of the top technologies in the world by UNESCO as a company that will help advance the goals of the UN.?
7) The Tampa Bay Wave? | Tampa Bay
The Tampa Bay Wave was an organization that I always wanted to represent. I am grateful that they gave Omni Public an opportunity to work with them. They are building the future economy in Tampa Bay through their Tech Women Rising Cohort, Tech Diversity Cohort, Cyber, and FinTech programs. They understand the ins and outs of developing a diverse ecosystem and are creating an environment for startups to thrive.?
8) Cancer Vaccine? | Tampa Bay?
Scientists with Morphogenesis are developing a ground-breaking cancer vaccine right here in Tampa Bay. Led by Dr. Patricia Lawman, Morphogenesis is going through a transformative period that we are eager to announce in the near future. But for now, it is an honor to play a small part in the journey to beat cancer.
9) Advancing Inclusion Tech? | Santiago Chile?
Lazarillo is a Chilean Tech Startup that helps the visually impaired navigate cities, buildings, transportation and public spaces. This past year Omni Public through our lobbying efforts helped Lazarillo reach its first American city to implement their technology. It is going to be fascinating to spread their offerings across the United States.?
10) Fighting for Foster Youth |? Florida?
New Life Village was created to provide a safe, healing and permanent home for youth in the foster care system. In this multi-generational village, dedicated seniors volunteer to live alongside children, providing educational growth opportunities and to bolster the sense of community. We’re excited to watch as the village reaches its goal to be self-sustaining in five years.
?11) Democratizing Investment? | Silicon Valley?
Private investment mobile app company, Linqto, is providing accredited investors with affordable opportunities and liquidity across the private sector. Co-founded by Vicki and Bill Sarris, Linqto is making it accessible and affordable. By simplifying private investing, Linqto is building a future where all investors can easily invest and trade in private securities.
12) Startup Nation Meets the Sunshine State | Florida?
Would you believe that some of the most advanced technology that you use every day is developed in Israel? Located here in Tampa Bay,? The Florida Israel Business Accelerator is an accelerator program designed to help Israeli startups enter the U.S. market.? Because of their work in the Sunshine State, FIBA has had partnerships with local giants in the business community such as Jabil, Cherry Bekaert, and Janvest Capital Partners.
13) Building the Future Economy | Tampa?
Committed to creating an internationally recognized startup ecosystem in Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay Ventures has big plans to lead investments for 15 to 20 local tech startups over the next five years. Founded just last year with an initial $20 million seed fund, the investment firm got right to work, leading its first investment to procurement and spend analysis platform, Protoco, in July.?
14) Backing the Meta Lab |? Charlotte?
Carolina FinTech Hub is fostering a fintech ecosystem for banks, startups, insurance companies, financial firms, and entrepreneurs, unique to the Charlotte community. By providing resources, hosting events, and producing a FinTech podcast, Carolina FinTech is creating an environment to attract and retain some of the region’s most exciting FinTech startups.?
15 ) The Microhospital | Houston?
Hamilton Health Box provides healthcare services to employees, no matter the company's size. By integrating the brilliance of artificial intelligence into healthcare, the Hamilton Health Box streamlines healthcare services, enabling more individuals to receive prompt, individualized, and more accurate care.
16) The Future of Health Care | Houston?
The innovative, technologically advanced Care.Ai is saving lives and improving the quality of care through hospital-wide use of its Smart Care Facility Operating Platform?, keeping clinicians and patients safe using intelligent edge sensors installed throughout the hospital. These sensors monitor learning behaviors as well as environmental conditions, offering real-time feedback improving care processes and health outcomes.?
16) The Intergalactic Doctor? | Global
Dr. Jose Morey the CEO of Ad Astra,is changing the game in education. Considered to be the first intergalactic physician, Dr. Morey has been featured on Forbes, Univision, and CNBC, as well as other media outlets, highlighting his work on producing the brightest and most diverse future scientists and entrepreneurs.
17) Evangelizing Systempreneurship | Global?
Across the pond, Systemprenurship at Oxford is tackling large-scale, global issues through entrepreneurship. With an academic discipline aimed to explore the connection between politics, policy, investment, and entrepreneurship, the hope is that leaders across the globe will be equipped with new tools, case studies, and frameworks to implement change to improve their respective global communities. Omni Public is excited to be one of the first consulting firms to offer systempreneurship as a service.

18) Turning Waste into Currency | Global?
Global energy and management consulting firm, Minimise USA, works to provide its clients, both public and private, with environmentally sound energy solutions at no cost, and with a payout. Founder and serial entrepreneur, Daniel Badran, created Minimise to have a positive ripple effect across Tampa Bay by partnering with local governments and contractors to create jobs, ultimately infusing capital into the local economy.?
19) The Crypto Capital | Miami?
Founded in 2019, Orca Capital provides financial advisory services and financial expertise with a focus on the blockchain industry. Led by financial expert, Jeff Sekinger, Orca Capital seeks out innovative projects led by entrepreneurial management from its homebase in Miami. Featured in the Tech Times, founder Austin Barnard hopes to invest in people by opening minds to the evolution in business and trading.?
20 ) PsySec | South Carolina
Hook Security is breaking barriers in the cyber security space with their innovative PsySec security training.? The two-part annual training program focuses on important topics for employees such as phishing, remote work, passwords and more. With PsySec, Hook Security allows users to take a deeper dive into single areas of cyber security in? an interesting and engaging way. In 2021, Hook Security landed a $250,000 investment from SC Launch Inc.?
21) Blockchain as a service | Florida
After a year of massive growth, BlockSpaces continues to make waves. The women co-founded and led a software company that provides blockchain integration software connecting applications, managing the complexities involved in blockchain use in business. With Gabe Higgins and Rosa Shores at the helm of its innovation, BlockSpaces landed its first seed round in March 2021, with $1.25 million. After a monumental year, the company recently secured $5.75 million in a venture seed round.
22) Synapse | Florida?
Synapse has been a key driver of innovation across Central Florida. The non-profit organized to connect entrepreneurs, investors and other stakeholders in accelerating the success of Florida’s thriving entrepreneurial communities.? Since its inception in 2018, Synapse now attracts more than 300 companies and drew around 8,000 attendees from across the country last year with its annual Synapse Summit.

23) Delorean | South Florida?
DeLorean AI is the real-world answer to a Science Fiction dream paraded about the marketplace like a hip fashion trend. Dr. Severence MacLauglin’s company is paving the way for artificial intelligence to seamlessly fit into systems that drive our world forward.
“We understand industry challenges and we develop machines, algorithms, systems of intelligence, and beings that have the ability to meet those challenges and launch our clients ahead of their competition.” ?DeLorean AI currently offers services in the Financial, Fintech, M&A, CPG, Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Entertainment industries. DeLorean AI strives to give meaning to artificial intelligence through real-world applications.?
24) Shamrck | Mississippi?
Shamrck is an AI-powered career exploration platform, led by Sheffie Robinson. Bringing more than 20 years of software engineer experience, Sheffie saw a need for schools to create better career and technical education programs, so she applied her expertise in a way that would connect students to employers. The startup currently has more than 700 users on the platform and Robinson has plans to go public in the next four to seven years.? Robinson has been recognized as one of 50 Black business owners chosen to participate in Google’s Black Founders Fund and Omni Public is excited to work with this innovative company.?
25) Cope Notes |? Mental Health Tampa Bay?
Modern day stresses of an ongoing pandemic, social inequality and political unrest require modern solutions. Cope Notes founder, Johnny Crowder filled that need with mental health support in your pocket. With daily text messages, exercises, and? encouragement,? one can train their brain to practice healthier thinking. Johnny Crowder was featured on TEDx Talks explaining how a “screw-up like him” came to create this easily accessible mental health services. Optimism is the challenge of the century and 86% of Cope Notes subscribers report improved mental and emotional health after just 30 days.?
?26) Koda Health |? Houston?
Houston-based health technology firm Koda Health had a big year, having been awarded $256,000 from the National Science Foundation to expand its advanced care-plan. The cloud-based platform works to streamline and digitize conversations between patients and health care providers. Discussions include power of attorney, emergency contacts and quality of life preferences, among other potentially difficult conversations.?
27) Tomorrow Land | Tampa
Mark Sharpe and the Tampa Innovation Partnership are working to transform North Tampa, starting with a 100-acre mix-use space occupying what was formerly University Mall on Fowler Avenue. The innovation center, to be called RITHM, hopes to tap into the vibrant university entrepreneurship scene, led by thought leaders and socioeconomic influencers. From medical tech to U.S. Special Operations Command partnerships, RITHM will bring a buzz back to North Tampa.
