In 7 Weeks a Winning Client Acquisition Strategy
I’m excited to give you a sneak peek into Week 1 of the Business Growth Challenge I’m running in my paid cohort! Step 1: Gather Client Insights
Reach out to at least five of your clients and ask them a few key questions to uncover why they chose to work with you and the value they received. Keep it casual and conversational. These insights aren’t just testimonials—they’re a chance to reconnect with clients.
Questions to ask:
1. Why did you choose to work with me?
2. What did you love the most about our work together?
3. What was the main benefit you gained from working with me?
4. How do you continue to see value from our collaboration?
Pro Tip: This is more than just gathering feedback. It’s another meaningful touchpoint with your clients, so make the most of it.
Step 2: Update Your LinkedIn Profile with Client Quotes
Now that you’ve collected feedback, it’s time to use those golden insights on your profile. Here’s how:
1. Banner: Feature a client quote or their logo (with permission). This instantly shows credibility.
2. Featured Section: Highlight a recommendation or post showcasing client praise. You can also create a carousel of client feedback.
3. About Section: Integrate client quotes into your story, showing how your approach solves real problems.
4. Work Experience: Use quotes or mini case studies to demonstrate your impact in your job descriptions.
Bonus Tips:
- Use visuals like banners and posts to make your profile pop.
- Keep it authentic—integrate quotes naturally into your profile’s narrative.
- Update regularly as you gather more testimonials and results.
Collecting Feedback: Methods to Use
1. Email: Convenient but may lack the full depth of client enthusiasm.
2. LinkedIn Recommendation Request: Efficient for LinkedIn visibility but responses might be brief.
3. Video Call (Recorded): Captures real-time enthusiasm but requires more coordination.
Pro Tip: Choose the method that best suits you and your client. The goal is to make it as smooth and comfortable as possible for them to share their thoughts.
