26 Things I Might be Doing Instead of Reading Your Email

My coworker Shannon and I have been planning our 4th of July trip since January. We are going to Universal Studios Hollywood and then taking the train down to San Diego. After counting down the days for 6 months, the day has finally arrived! We prepped our work for next week, said goodbye to our coworkers, packed our bags, and of course - set our Out of Office messages.

I've been thinking about all of the fun things I want to do on this trip for months. So I decided to have a little fun with my OOO message. Enjoy :)

I am out of the office from July 3rd to July 7th and will be back in the office on July 10th.

i.) Getting my big break in a movie as Ryan Gosling’s love interest

j.) Reminding Ryan Gosling in between scenes that he’s with Eva Mendes so NO, he cannot have my phone number

k.) Eventually giving in because, hey, he’s Ryan Gosling

l.) Taking the train on the Pacific Surfliner route from LA to San Diego

m.) Drinking a beer on the beach in San Diego

n.) Listening to music on the beach in San Diego

o.) Watching the sunset while on the beach in San Diego

p.) Watching a firework show while on the beach in San Diego

q.) Pretending to know how to surf but really just repeatedly falling off a surfboard

r.) Eating an unhealthy number of tacos

s.) Taking an unreasonable number of photos of Shannon’s niece (who is celebrating her 1st birthday!)

t.) Going on a wild safari (Also known as visiting the San Diego Zoo)

u.) Asking to pet a stranger’s dog

v.) Petting a stranger's dog

w.) Visiting 10 Barrel San Diego - let me know if you want a hat!

x.) Drinking a mint mojito iced coffee at Philz

y.) Teaching Shannon’s niece how to say “Morgan is cooler than Shannon”

z.) Crying because it’s time to come home
