In 1992, Centre for Excellence in Project Management (CEPM) had organized the First International conference on project management in New Delhi in association with UNDP. Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance supported this conference. That event laid the foundation of scientific project management in India and was the beginning of creating a project oriented society for India.
In that historic conference, my definition of project management as ‘An art and science of converting vision into reality’ was well accepted by the international PM community. Everything we do is project management as we want to build the future as per our vision.
This year we are organizing the 25th Global Symposium on Project Management. In view of the importance of the Symposium theme we are very happy that the CEO of NITI Aayog, Amitabh Kant has agreed to be the Honorary Chairman of the International Advisory Council (IAC) of the 2017 Global Symposium. The theme of the symposium is in line with the major thrust in timely delivery and outcome oriented performance.
We seek your participation in a big way to make our forthcoming 25th Global Symposium a grand success. We expect a large number of participants from all over the world.
We would like you to nominate 3 to 4 persons who would benefit in understanding the latest best practices in managing projects. The symposium has 6 major streams all of which are extremely relevant to India.
We look forward to seeing your company’s presence in this historic event. The participants will go through an experience never experienced before. The 25th Global Symposium brochure is attached.
