Given 1 in 2 of the UK population will, at some point in their lives, be diagnosed with some type of cancer and given the recent struggles of close and extended family members, close friends and neighbours, I thought I would take on the Swimathon challenge to swim 25Km between 19th April and 3rd May, to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie.
