25 Years! Thank You for Your Good Wishes.

25 Years! 

I feel so much gratitude. Thank you to everyone that has sent good wishes today. 

I am far more grateful to be here than back in 1990. When I founded Inspired Work I wanted to transform our relationship towards work. That mission has proved to be a far greater challenge than I ever anticipated and one that requires the support of many, many people. That, my friends, is how I got here - many contributions, late night calls, brilliant contributors, wise elders, friends who watch my back and many who kept me on the straight and narrow.

Inspired Work has generated 42,000 graduates. These are individuals who made a rather big commitment to change and to pursue lives that at many times took them out of the predictable. I cannot imagine the collective contributions these individuals are making to the world today - I certainly can feel it.

This past weekend, a new book went out the door for an auction. The project includes fearsome editors who've forced me to become a better writer and to qualify every point-of-view. Perhaps this is the greatest change in 25 years. In 1990, I had a close circle of friends who supported this mission. Today, I am surrounded with some of the world's most breathtaking talent.

What have I learned?

Anyone can change.

Anyone can find what they were born to do.

Anyone can reinvent themselves to take advantage of the changes taking place today.

Eight months ago, I moved back to the neighborhood where Inspired Work began. We live at the beach overlooking the Pacific. In the mid-nineties, I plowed money to keep this moving forward and left this area where we feel peace and are surrounded by beauty.

So, I am going to celebrate this milestone by walking along the beach with my partner and our two dachshunds, watch the sunset and tomorrow, begin again.
