25 Years is a Long Time

I normally don't post personal items on Linkedin but seeing that the personal and the professional merge in this anniversary I hope my contacts won't be offended.

25 years is a long time and that is how long I have been married to the same person.

I have had a great life and career. I have worked all over the world for some of the best people. I have built new events, which I love to do, and met people from many industries and fallen in love multiple times with people who love what they do. My life has been a joy.

Agriculture, Industry, Dentistry, Leather Goods, Flooring, Renewable Energy and now Water; all have introduced me to people who love what they do as much as I love what I do; bringing people together to share their passions. This is genetic for me I come from Generations of Restauranteurs and Hotel Owners bringing people together is in my blood.

But success in anything is rarely achieved alone. I have had great mentors and friends along the way and all of you know who your are but there is one person who through all the ups and downs, Immigration, September 11th, Great Recession & COVID stood by me and made sure that our adventure always continued and that we thrived. She is everyone's favorite aunt. daughter, granddaughter, employee, friend and for me wife and partner. 25 years is along time and for me without Waltraud nothing I have achieved could have been possible.

So tomorrow when I wake up in our house and begin another day I will remember a day exactly 25 years ago when all that I am became possible because of her and I will be thankful and feel blessed. 25 years is a long time to be happy and content and blessed with one person.. Happy Anniversary Waltraud
