25 Times Where I Was Told I Was Wrong -- But I Was Right -- (This Might Get Really Annoying).

This is only for the last year by the way. Otherwise, it’d be a book. 

I’ll preface this piece by saying none of it was a matter of superior intellect, psychic ability or even a good guess. It was all pretty damn obvious. But you had to keep your eyes (and mind) open to see it.

It took about four seconds into that story before it was obvious it was a load of B.S. Still...people wanted SO MUCH to believe it was true -- until it became impossible even for CNN to pretend 

 The Kavanaugh Hearings

Although it’s never been proven one way or another it seemed probable that Kavanaugh got out of hand with that woman when they were kids, but once she said “in my mind I thought he was going to rape me” it was a done deal. You can’t convict someone based on what you might be thinking. 

The Russian Probe

This wasn’t a matter of rooting for Trump. It was just that it all seemed so far fetched. And it was.

Right from the start, there was something about that bitch that just felt phony. 

 Stormy Daniels

Using Trumps indiscretion with a professional prostitute before he was married as a method to take him down on “moral principles” was failed from the start, especially since Hillary’s husband had an affair with a 24 year old. Who worked for him. While he was married. In the Oval office. 

The Mueller Report

Everyone was on the edge of their seat waiting for the verdict! I knew nothing would come of this because if they had anything, they would have come out with it. They wouldn’t be fishing for a year and then waiting to make an announcement. 

Contact Tracing

How could anyone think that there would be a way to trace everyone who had been in contact with anyone else. It was all so dumb. Still...people pushed for it and commended the attempt. It turned out to provide not one single benefit. Even the testing was stupid. You could test negative and get the virus one minute later. This was a case of grasping at straws and it solved about as much as removing your shoes before getting on a plane.   

Fauci Becomes a Star

As soon as he contradicted Trump, I knew the left would embrace him. Within a week, he was their hero.

Fauci Says Not To Wear a Mask

Enough with the selfies with the mask on!!! Ugh! I took exactly ONE picture with a mask on. (Actually, it was a pair of underwear). It was after Fauci said NOT to. It made no sense. Everyone knows that germs can be transmitted from breath or saliva. Well, except for Fauci obviously. Oh wait...it turns out he did know. He just lied so people wouldn’t buy all the masks that health care workers needed. Very noble. I guess he never heard of underwear. 

Fauci Milks it. 

The man became a superstar by saying nothing other than wash your hands, stay distanced and avoid going out. I knew he would never let go of that fame. And he did all he could to keep it. 

Fauci Says to Wear Two Masks

This was actually a joke on my part. I said since we have a vaccine and numbers are going down maybe Fauci will double down and say to wear two masks. He did. 

George Floyd

After I read the first sentence of that story I said; “Here come the riots.” 

The Protests

I begged friends not to attend peaceful protestors in Manhattan because it would shield those who want to loot and riot. They went anyway. There was looting and rioting.

Trump Blows it

As soon as I heard those incendiary remarks about the election being stolen and people should go to the Capital, I knew it would not end well. 

Wearing a Mask Outdoors

A mask does not filter out airborne germs. That’s plain common sense. By wearing a mask outside you actually lose the benefit of the fresh air. Even though the CDC finally admitted as much, to this day there are people who can not grasp that concept.  

The Shutdowns

Once the word came out that the shut down “to slow down the curve” was causing economic strife among the public, I knew the Democrats would do everything they could to keep it going. The economy was Trump’s shining success and here was their chance to tear it down. The “15 Day shutdown” lasted over a year. 

Mars Was Missed

Landing on Mars was an astonishing milestone but I knew the public would have a tepid reception toward it.  

Biden Doesn’t Know Where He Is

Proven to be the case before the election -- Proven to be the case after the election.

BLM

This group is clearly a militant organization with Marxists tactics so it was pretty damn apparent they were not going to help any black people and just use their power for personal benefit. To this day, not one dollar has gone into any black neighborhood, school, hospital, housing, church, project or program. It’s gone all into the pockets of its leaders. And nobody seems to mind. 

 Cuomo The KIller

It was known that Cuomo made a horrific blunder when he allowed Covid infected seniors back into nursing homes. When that decision was being made I called it astonishingly stupid. And it was. People forgave him though. They even praised him.

I said the nursing home situation was probably worse than they’re even admitting. I had friends get hostile toward me for saying so. As it turns out that he didn’t cause the death of 5000 seniors, it was actually 15,000 seniors. 

Whitmer the Witless

There was something about this woman. This one was pure intuition. She seemed a little too filled with glee shutting down her state. She had this perverse look of satanic pleasure. Sure enough, once the protests started she was out there arm in arm marching away in crowds . Because it was “important.” And as everyone knows, Covid can’t hurt you as long as you have something important to do. (Well, not going to work to feed your family though. Gretchin didn’t think that was important enough). And although she berated Florida for remaining open, she went there on vacation. Incognito of course. But she got busted anyway. 

Speaking of which...

DeDantis

There was a time where praising Ron DeSantis was the liberals equivalent to praising Hitler. He went against all of the paranoia generated by the left wing media and kept the state open. He was a reckless, irresponsible crazy person for not demanding a state wide ongoing quarantine. Meanwhile, Florida, in spite of having the highest elderly population had fewer Covid deaths per capita than 27 other states -- all of which shut down hard. And it had more seniors vaccinated faster than anywhere else in the country. (DeSantis/Owens 2024!)

Bill DeBlasio Turns out To Be an Even Bigger Fool 

In the middle of social chaos, DeBlasio fuels the flames by painting a Black Lives Matter mural on 5th avenue which got repeatedly defaced. He was last seen promoting the vaccine by offering free french fries, which he demonstrated by eating with his mouth open. 

Antibodies

I had them so I did not fear the virus and went about going wherever I could go and doing whatever I wanted to do in the face of numerous warnings. I lived. 

I’m sure there are more, and more to come, but those are twenty five just off the top of my head. Yet, what does it get me?
