25 Things in 2025: How Creativity Sparks Growth, Connection and Achievement

The Power of Connection: A Creative Workshop with Friends

This morning, I had the privilege of hosting a creative workshop with three wonderful friends. It was an invitation I gladly accepted, as it gave me the chance to try an idea I’d been excited about for some time. What unfolded was a beautiful reminder of the strength found in shared spaces and collective growth.

A Weekly Gathering of Friendship and Faith

Our little group meets weekly—a mix of women, all mothers, bound together by faith and church, yet each unique in our work, personalities, and perspectives. Over the past year, we’ve met in each other’s homes, shared coffee, celebrated birthdays, and reflected deeply on life through Charlotte Gambill’s book Breathe.

These moments of raw, gritty, and heartfelt conversations have woven a strong bond between us. When the opportunity arose to guide them through a creative process for goal-setting in 2025, I knew they were the perfect group to join me.

A Morning of Creativity and Connection

It was a gloriously sunny but cold day, with the heating on and coffee cups in hand. After a quick introduction, I led us through a fun warm-up to set the tone for the day: a dance routine from Justin Neto, whose joyful Instagram reels are all about spreading happiness. (YMCA played, and yes, we danced like no one was watching!)

With smiles on our faces, we transitioned into the creative part of the workshop—preparing our 2025 Bingo cards. This visual, hands-on approach to mapping out goals and habits involved writing, cutting, and sticking ideas onto paper while disco music played in the background.

Reclaiming Dreams and Ambitions

What made the morning truly special was watching these amazing women—mothers who give so much to others—pause to focus on themselves. They unearthed dormant dreams, rediscovered ambitions, and gave voice to things they want to pursue in the year ahead.

As we shared our creative sheets, the energy in the room shifted. This wasn’t just about setting goals; it was about reclaiming a sense of purpose and joy.

A Shared Vision for 2025

Next time we meet, we’ll bring our completed Bingo cards, filled with specific goals and habits—each box dated and ready for action. We’ve already started dreaming about a group getaway, and I now have an incredible circle of accountability friends to cheer me on as I do the same for them.

This experience reminded me that our goals don’t have to be solo ventures. Life, especially for women balancing so many roles, is deeply interconnected. Having a community to support, encourage, and hold you accountable can make all the difference.

Why Do the Work and the Fruit It Brings

Here’s an invitation: take this idea and run with it. Whether one-on-one, with a couple of close friends, or a few colleagues whose company you admire, carve out an hour and a half to try it. Put on a Justin Neto routine, dance like nobody’s watching, and let the creativity flow. Reflect on the areas of your life that matter most and use them as a guide to dream big. Create your own "25 Things in 2025" list, and make a plan to check in with each other every couple of weeks or at least once a month.

It doesn’t matter what time of year you start—just start. Action creates more action, and that momentum can change everything. For me, it all began one-on-one with a coach and mentor, and it’s been transformational.

If you’d like to go on an adventure of discovery and growth—with me walking alongside as your coach—let’s connect. There’s so much waiting for you, and I’d be honoured to be part of your journey.

? What’s one goal or habit you’d love to prioritize in 2025? Share it in the comments—I’d love to cheer you on! Or get in touch to start exploring together.
