It may sound strange, but this is what I did around the entrance door to the BANK OF CORONADO in Coronado, California. This building is about 100 meters from the Pacific Ocean (means: salt and moisture in the air), and…..over 20 years later looks just perfect! By the way, it is so called, SPRECKELS BUILDING (after American “King of Sugar†John D. Spreckels), second, after the famous HOTEL DEL CORONADO landmark of this luxurious town. It stretches over two city blocks having a bank, a theater, and a dozen of restaurants and other businesses. If you are in San Diego area one day – it is worth visiting.
