In 24 Hours

In 24 hours, the business that I founded nearly a quarter century ago will be sold. Owned by others. I founded it with a dream. It surpassed my greatest expectations. When I look back, it was the people -- the clients and the team -- that fueled the magic carpet ride. In the beginning, I was wild, driven, crazy, passionate, obsessed with turning my dream into a success. In the end, I am wild, driven, crazy, passionate and obsessed with life. With what I will do next. With the boundless opportunities that await me. With helping the new owners succeed. And in my role as a father, lover, adventurer, risk taker, dreamer, soul mate, pain in the ass, pugilist. I have no plan and I seek none. Thankfully, I have talents, ambition determination. I am interested in taking on new challenges, in the business world that has blessed me in so many ways. Whatever I do, I will need and savor complex challenge. When I founded my marketing firm, there was no commercial Internet, email, websites, bloggers, social media. So much has changed, but so much has remained the same. Once again, a man is ready to test his mettle in the world. Once again, I can paint with any color or brush that I choose. I am a lucky man!
