24 hours, 75km, 8 brave explorers…

As many of you will have seen, myself, my husband Alexis and our respective companies, Quality Context and Counter Context are big supporters of the Sheffield Children’s Hospital. Last year we raised over £25,000 for the charity.

This year, my husband, along with seven other members of the team, are hoping to hike up our fundraising total by completing a 75km trek in under 24 hours.

Setting off at 9pm on Friday 19 August, the circular route takes the walkers from their starting point in the Hope Valley through the Peak District’s beautiful but challenging landscape. They will cover a total of 75km (47 miles) including 2,000m of ascent, within a time limit of 24 hours.

The Sheffield Children’s Hospital is one of only four specialist children’s hospitals in the UK. The money we raise goes towards buying life-saving equipment, funding vital research and treating thousands of children from across the world, as well as creating a comfortable, engaging environment for the patients.

The team have pledged to raise over £7,500.

If you would like to donate, please do so on the Just Giving page below. Any amount you can sponsor them would be greatly received.
