24 Events in 15 Days
Boston was bustling with festive excitement this holiday season, as CSI DMC managed to pull off an impressive feat: executing 24 events in just 15 days. With a total of 7,920 guests, 6 unique venues, and 11 ballrooms transformed, CSI DMC successfully coordinated a whirlwind of holiday celebrations for our clients in Boston.
Remarkable Team Efforts
Rachel Strauss , Director of Sales, Boston, expressed her pride in the team's accomplishments. She said, “The fact that our team planned and executed 24 events within the shortened holiday season is truly remarkable. We kicked off the holiday party season by sending our clients some amazing and unique holiday party ideas – from there we transformed ballrooms and venues into retro holiday events, moody winter lodges, winter wonderlands and a sugarplum fairy palace!”
Strauss elaborated on how the team met the challenge of executing so many events in just a few weeks. "With so many holiday parties packed into just three short weeks, our team had to get creative," she explained. The team engaged a wide range of vendors across various specialties, calling upon florists for holiday trees, converting side tables into rustic stumps, and crafting a custom fa?ade for serving Mike’s Pastry cannoli's, a beloved Boston treat. Her proudest moment? "Watching a team come together to flip a venue space in 2 hours from a working Children’s Museum to a retro holiday event with colorful patterns, activations, live music, soft seating and specialty bars and lighting. We were moving tables, setting linens, placing trees until doors opened in order to make the event a memorable experience for the guests!” Strauss recalled, emphasizing the dedication and attention to detail her team demonstrated.
Cara Pratt, CMP, DMCP , Chief Business Development Officer, shared her enthusiasm for the winter holiday season. She reflected, "The 2024 holiday season was my favorite year over the past 15+ years of doing this." Pratt had so much fun seeing companies revive their holiday parties and really transform them into immersive experiences. She recounted visiting three different events in one night, each with its own unique theme. "It was so fun to see such different concepts just blocks away from each other which truly shows how creative this team is. From a lush evergreen academic-inspired event to a festive palm paradise celebration to a classic winter wonderland snow globe party – each event was so well thought out and perfect for that particular audience," she said, emphasizing the creativity of the team. “It took every single member of the New England team to bring this to life and I could not be prouder!” Pratt concluded, highlighting the teamwork that defined the season.
