Real Estate Remix?

A stunning 5th Ave Gilded Age mansion went on the market two years ago asking $72 million. Now, it’s back again but with a $23M price reduction! The 16,000 SF limestone estate was built in 1910 by Stanford White—who also designed the Washington Square Arch—and sits across from Central Park. The previous owner bought the home for $42M in 2012 and embarked on a lengthy renovation. Standout features include the limestone staircase with its original wrought-iron railing, French stained-glass windows, and five (!) kitchens. You can take a closer look inside the home here. Based on market appetite, the original listing price was too inflated, however, this new listing price of $49.9 seems promising, especially given the home’s history and updated luxury amenities. What do you think? Would you pay $49.9M???

NYC Insider: What’s Happening This Week?

The NY Botanical Garden’s annual orchid show just opened this past weekend. This year’s show is themed around Mexican Modernism and inspired by the bold, multicolored designs of the Mexican modernist architect, Luis Barragán. It’s so cool to me that our city gives us access to world-class exhibits like this—all in our own backyard. The show runs until April 27th, with select Saturday nights turning into a vibe with music, dancing, and food. Plan your trip & get tix here.

Weekly Gem ??

The word for today is ADAPT.?

Often, when we get stuck wanting a very specific outcome, it can lead to depression when things don’t go our way. In these moments, it’s easy to forget that the process is just as important! Throughout life, I’ve learned that the ability to improvise and adapt is critical to success. When we are presented with obstacles (either created by our own doing or the world) we need to use them as an opportunity to learn, be aware, understand, and pivot. Nothing can stop us but us…as long as we adapt to the situation at hand.?
