23 Things I'm Saying "Hell Yes" to this Year

After graduating from USC amid a global pandemic, starting my career remotely and beginning my book-writing journey (which I'm nearing the end of), turning 23 felt different.

At 22, I took a few giant steps:

  • Started writing a book about values-aligned job searching
  • Assumed a Director-level role at a fast-growing tech startup
  • Began my inner work with a mindset coach

These things didn't just happen, they are the outcome of me realizing my power, leading with my intuition and taking action. In the spirit of turning 23, leveling up in my personal growth, and realizing that life is too dang short, I took to my journal to write a few goals.

But upon doing so, I realized that there was an opportunity to take my writing beyond the pages of my journal - and put my action-oriented goals out for the world to see in my first LinkedIn article - with the idea that seeing this might somehow help you realize your power, and mayyyybe inspire you to write your very own "Hell yes" list.

Fat chance, I know. But here it is anyway!

23 things I'm saying "Hell yes" to this year:

  1. Hell yes to living each day as my authentic self
  2. Hell yes to leading with vulnerability
  3. Hell yes to taking on challenging goals, projects, and jobs
  4. Hell yes to prioritizing in my mental, physical, and emotional health
  5. Hell yes to being a hybrid individual, with a hybrid job, at a hybrid company
  6. Hell yes to investing my money!
  7. Hell yes to reaching out to people whose missions align with mine
  8. Hell yes to giving back & paying it forward
  9. Hell yes to manifesting & vision boarding
  10. Hell yes to knowing my worth and asking for what I want
  11. Hell yes to saying 'yes' to new experiences
  12. Hell yes to trying out sobriety
  13. Hell yes to going to bed early and waking up early (most of the time)
  14. Hell yes to realizing the things I formerly thought were weaknesses make me unique
  15. Hell yes to spending time with family & friends, and bringing people together
  16. Hell yes to celebrating the wins, losses and everything in between
  17. Hell yes to practicing an abundance mindset
  18. Hell yes to sharing my story
  19. Hell yes to being grateful every day
  20. Hell yes to putting my activism out there
  21. Hell yes to trusting that everything happens for the best
  22. Hell yes to advocating for the needs of others
  23. Hell yes to leading by example

(+1 for good luck)

24. Hell yes to empowering myself and others with the tools and knowledge to be our best selves, together!!

Anddd now it's your turn (if you want to)...

_______

How to Take on the "Hell Yes" Challenge:

  1. Write [your age] number of things you're saying, "Hell yes!" to this year
  2. Tag @Danielle Farage so I can support you!
  3. Use #HellYesChallenge in your post

_______

Happy writing!

P.S I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my use of the word "hell," it was for dramatic effect.
