223 70gr TechStrike 1650 FPS

The 223 70gr TechStrike is proving to be 1 awesome high tech round of ammunition. We did some preliminary testing for kicks and grins to test out our camera shooting the round through a windshield glass. I will post the high speed video next. The real surprise for the day was the powder metal particles gave us 6+ inches of penetration through the gel block. The distance from the windshield to the block was not the official FBI spec which we will shoot to for the official test results. We were using a used block standing on its end. We wasn't expecting any penetration into the gel block because a fragmenting round will usually not defeat a windshield so we wasn't looking to hard into the gel block especially since it was a well used block. But when we picked up the block we noticed a trail of powder particles going across the block of a distance of 6+ inches which is just amazing. This round will not penetrate a 3 mm thick stainless steel pipe when shot head on at just 10 feet but it will still go through a windshield glass and cause 6 inches of penetration. Now that is just awesome. If you are looking for a Space Age Technology CQB type round this is it. No other round can compare to the performance of Allegiance TechStrike.
