6ft Tall strong running att/def midfielder, 22 year old Gergo Holdampf One to watch out for.

My take teams in Europe & UK need to know about. Former Hungarian u 20 International. Playing in Div Two Hungary this boy is far better than this standard for me read my report           then judge for yourself.

PHYSICAL

Gergo Holdampf has attained a well-built body shape, 1 81cm tall with broad shoulders .A strong player, abundance of stamina levels seen. Holdampf was in excellent physical condition. Ideal shape for the midfield holding roll he was given.

Bundles of stamina & energy levels seen good strength going into the tackle or holding marks off. Strong running midfielder on or off on the ball.

Holdampf pushed forward more in the second half with a nice short burst of pace to attack the backline from central areas .Well balanced player. Good firm tackles made a number of times as he used that little change of pace to close down his mark really well it also showed up well when attacking space in the second half.

Strikes with a good deal of pace and power from distance 30/35 yards out. That part of his game impressed accurate with it. Put in a strong firm challenge on the Ariel balls he went for to good effect.

TECHNICAL

Strong on retaining the ball when pressed showing good skills at this time .His passing was crisp and confident with a sense of purpose to his play especially when he pushed further up in the second half Nice solid first touch off both feet, though he is right footed .

Technically good, too good for the standard he was playing .That good first touch showed up well and enabled him to be a threat as he pushed forward on a bumpy pitch not easy to play on he look comfortable on the ball. He did impress with his technical ability.

GAME KNOWLEDGE

Excellent defending awareness to his game this boy has been well coached in that area. Holdampf knows and showed just how to play the holding role he did it with some ease. Good defending anticipation and awareness seen many times closed threating marks down with a nice change of pace and excellent work rate.

He also showed how to play box to box midfield roll in the second half when he went left side of a 4-3-3 formation. Holdampf gave an impressive overall performance in the two positions he played with a high grafting approach to his game throughout.

When playing left in a midfield three, his vision came to the fore his passing a good range and weight of passing showing good vision. Plays with a good amount of discipline going both ways Attacking or defending this did impress at the time.

If he needed to showed discipline hacking the ball away he did not hesitate when doing so. Holdampf also when playing the holding roll. Showed a good level of long range passing if given time other than that played simple disciplined balls.

In the second half Holdampf made several unseen runs to attack the space again showing a real good awareness of attacking plays overall impressed with this boy.

ATTITUDE

For sure a committed player for his team .Well focused team player with enough aggression to get the job done .Not afraid to go in when it really matters he was brave putting his body on the line with blocks a number of times.

A grafter with superb work rate and work ethic about him again which again impressed. He plays with purpose defending or attacking. Good talker throughout for his team.

First rate attitude showed, impressed with it.This boy is a winner a player to have in your side on attitude alone it is excellent as I have said.

COMMENTS & RECOMMENDATIONS

Holdampf can certainly play both rolls seen today. A well-coached all round midfielder. Having found out more information about the boy still only 22 years.

A former Hungarian under 20 international he might have lost his way a little this last season and a half after he return to his homeland . He is most certainly better than the league he now plays for sure.

Currently playing in Div Two Hungary masked this player true ability .He is far better than the standard he now plays .

I believe he would do well in Championship level England or anywhere in Europe or Scandinavia for that matter. I feel a club in Div one or Two would be ideal for this player to settle and then. Once he is seen clubs from the championship will show interest as his soccer ability will do the rest. Holdampf plays with purpose, discipline, strength, focus .This boy needs looking at is my call .Great attitude to work rate work ethic with skill and strength in their as well .Good prospect

Teams need to get him in and have a real good look at the boy is my call.

He must move aboard to a higher league as the capabilities attitude to do well. Certainly for me one to watch out for. Holdampf needs putting into clubs system for sure.
